Carleton Cleaners

This is my response to Mr. [redacted] ’ letter dated July 1st, concerning my complaint against Carlton Cleaners at 2440 Ballpark Way, Arlington, TX. I had stated that CC had lost garments maybe 4-5 times, to which Mr. [redacted] said, “The reality is that on three separate occasions, either a... check was written to her, for the full amount she claimed, or credit for future cleaning was issued to her, to be used in the future.” The cleaners did either reimburse me or issue credit 3 times. What Mr. [redacted] isn’t taking into account is all the previous times that my husband would ask where his favorite ..was, or one of my sons would say where is that expensive .that I got for Christmas. It is all of these times that caused me to begin counting items and keeping a record each time they were dropped at Carlton Cleaners. But that is not the issue at hand; I merely want those reading this to understand what drove me to the point of inventorying garments each time they would be dropped off for cleaning. In the same paragraph, Mr. [redacted] goes on to state concerning the missing pants that I “described them in full detail-color, size brand-for which she was compensated, the very next week, those pants were brought in by her, to be cleaned, and we did so without mentioning a thing. We saw no need to embarrass her in any way.” NO – I HAVE NOT been compensated for those pants! That’s what this entire issue is concerning.
