Review: I took my car in because it had trouble starting. I told them it probably wasn't the battery because radio, lights etc. all worked.

I was told I would be charged $140. diagnostic fee which I agreed to assuming it would be credited if they performed the work needed on my car.

When I came to pick it up, they wanted $270.00 and guess what?? They changed the battery! And the car wouldn't start!

So, they fixed what was really wrong with the car, made me pay a diagnostic fee, a Battery I did not need that I could have got for 1/2 the price along with about $678.00 more to fix the starting issue.

I asked to be refunded my diagnostic fee because it was incorrect and they got to do the work on my car, and also charged me for a battery I didn't need. They refused.

I am a 21 year old college student who got taken advantage of by these [redacted] Its sad that as a young girl you cant be treated fairly.

I will never take my car here again.Desired Settlement: I could have bought a battery for $90.00. So, I want the difference, $40.00, and the $140.00 diagnostic fee, or should I say MIS diagnostic fee.

And an apology for being treated like an it. Just because I live in [redacted] doesn't mean I'm made of money.
