I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: I went to Maz Optical to purchase lenses which were paid in full (please see attached). After the business themselves, cracked my lens I asked if I could order the lenses with an extra in which I was willing to pay for the extra. The crack is in fact in my viewing area and the "small chip" is at least an inch long (please see attached). After it was explained to me that they would have to charge an absurd amount for the small change I decided to decline the change. All I wanted was a reorder of the new lens that was cracked. I don't understand how this is "unreasonable" and I don't understand why my wife has anything to do with this. The exchange in conversation was not a "respectful verbal exchange" as stated by Maz, it was utterly unprofessional on their part. "years in business" is a decent amount of time, and to speak with a customer, or just an adult for that matter, I'm surprised they got as far as they did. To further prove the exchange, if researched on other websites, you will find similar nastiness and unprofessionalism on Maz Optical as described by others. That is not "reputable" by any means. All in all, I paid for a service that was not received. Maz Optical continues with excuses because they do not want to pay out of pocket for my expensive lenses in which were damaged by them

neglected to charge him the difference between plastic and High indexUnderstanding it was our mistake, we let him take the glasses with no additional chargeAfter a short while, he wanted to replace the lenses in themAt this time, we informed him that we made a mistake when we charged him previously, and that if he wanted new High index lenses put in his frame, we would have to charge him the price of the High indexHe stated that since it was our mistake, he shouldn't have to be responsible for the price of the lenses the second timeWe told him that if he wanted the premier lenses, he would have to pay for themWhile he was unhappy about tha t, he left without deciding on what to doWe later received a call from the ***, understandably angry he asked if we had ordered his new lensesWe replied with "** *** ***" because we were still waiting on the payment of the High Index lensesHe then got very argumentative and after a small but respectful verbal exchange he wanted to order the lensesWhile inserting, the lens had chipped in a small areaWe advised him that there was an error while inserting the lens, and that we would need to reorder the lensesAlthough it was chipped, it was only a small portion in a non-viewing area, so we asked if he wanted to take the new lenses, or we could re-insert the old onesHe decided he wanted to keep the new lenses with the chip, and take them until the new lenses came inWe then told him, if he wanted to leave with them, he would have to pay them off in fullLeaving no balance for the future, he was incredibly unhappy about having to pay his balance for the High Index lensesSince then, he has not returned for us to replace the lenses in the frame. After years of reputable business, we have had minimal complaints, and are always able to solve them amicably*** *** and his wife were unreasonable and were not willing to come to a resolution
