It is a shame that Mr [redacted] is not taking ownership of the damage that his crew (and/or his subcontractors) are responsible for Our expectations concerning good workmanship and adherence to the contract are certainly no different from what would be expected for this type of job C.W [redacted] ’s letterhead state’s “Building our Reputation on Quality Work and Satisfied Customers” High standards from their customers should be par for the course and expected Mr [redacted] decided to bring up our request for replacement deck screws yet he failed to mention why we asked for them Due to the deck boards not being spaced properly (per contract), some of the finish decking materials needed to be removed and then re-attached During this process some of the screws were stripped and/or the color-matched coating was removed Others were not seated properly The bright screws were very visible against the dark decking material and we asked that they be replaced Our intent was not to rehash issues we had with C.W [redacted] during the completion of this job The reason for this complaint was specific to C.W[redacted] ’s refusal to be accountable and take responsibility for the damage done to our [redacted] Sliding Door We certainly did not cause the damage The doors/windows were not cleaned as stated by Mr [redacted] The pattern of the metal spray clearly indicates there was no screen on the door during the time the damage occurred and the Co installed the screen at the end of the job (also note that re-bar was cut and used to hold concrete forms in place) (2) [redacted] representatives evaluated the door and came to the same conclusion So it is clear to us where the responsibility lies As a professional contractor who supposedly builds his reputation on quality work and satisfied customers, Mr [redacted] has missed the mark this time
As we have previously stated, CW [redacted] Construction Inc., is not responsible for the material on the glass door panelsWe did clean the windows and glass door panels, inside and outside, the last day we worked on the projectThere was no damage of any kind on the glass The [redacted] thoroughly examined the entire project prior to our receiving the final payment I do not know why they are blaming our company for the problemOur employees, [redacted] and [redacted] will testify to the fact that they cleaned the glass door panels and there was no damage at that timeThis material on the panels was discovered a month after we left the project In the event you have additional questions, please feel free to contact us
