Lousy business First of all, all my property sat in the burned Midtown Towers building downtown Pittsburgh for five months I tried several times to obtain my property but wasn't allowed Then, when it was delivered, not only didn't they clean anything, but they ruined uncontaminated property that was sealed in packages Two days before, I entered my apartment to retrieve a plant, and all my stuff was in boxes in the smoky building I asked the supervisor, Tim, why my stuff wasn't cleaned, and he told me that they clean it while it's in the boxes Really So, when they delivered my property to my new apartment, I had them deliver it to the roof top Good thing, because it smelled so bad and everything was ruined That is, the stuff they delivered About half my stuff was stolen I tried contacting them several times, to no avail It figures, though, since Midtown Towers employees search far and wide to find the cheapest and worst companies to do business with I recommend [redacted] A lot of people told me they are wonderful
Firedex came into our home after we had smoke damageThey removed everything from the houseThings disappeared from the house & were never returnedPieces & parts of furniture were “thrown away” and never returnedWe have a list of multiple pieces of furniture & household items that mysteriously disappeared or were “thrown away” without asking our consentWhat a nightmareI would NEVER recommend Firedex to my worst enemyOur experience was nothing g but terribleDo not let these thieves into your home if you have a disaster in your homeThey will act like your beat friends and take from you, and lie to youThey were doing things in the house that they were asked not to do or touch, and charging our insurance company an hourly rate for their services we didn’t want done because we chose to do some ourselves and have other contractors do it The workers spent more time outside smoking than working
