Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint Regards, [redacted] Venesky asphalt never said anything about soft spot in middle of my parking lot!!!! they said that there was a soft spot on the very edge AFTER they had finishedI told them that there was a power line underground, and I guess thats their the excuse for having for "a soft spot" The spot in middle of parking lot that is in question, is not even where the powerline is at, and even if it was in the same spot, the powerline runs the length of the parking lot and would be soft all the way across, and not in one spot I was in contact with them several times and they even came out and looked, said they would be out of fix and that they stand behind their workAlso, they never mentioned anything about charging more to fix "soft spot" or do extra gradingThese people are LIARS!!!! All they want is to get your money and then runThey don't stand behind ANYTHING!! If they had mentioned that I need to do something extra to fix something, then I would have don't thatIts pretty clear that they just came and done a crappy job and got out as quick as possibleI could go on with the lies that I have been told, by ***, he's some it that the owner sends out when he doesn't want to show his face FYI: All the dimpling in my parking lot where the cars are parked are from "parking cars" in MY PARKING LOT!!!! Go figure!

We provided a contract to the customer that specified the job outlineEverything we were to do was stated specifically in the contract provided to the customerThe customer had existing gravel
base down, prior to paving we set up and examined the existing gravel base and determined some areas were not suitable and would required additional work to fixThe customer was made aware of this and was told it needed to be resolved but because it was unforeseen work that it would be an additional charge separate to the original contractHe was notified that there could be issues and elected not to do any additional work to resolve the problemWhen the asphalt started to crack due to poor sub grade we offered to remove the bad areas and repaveWe informed the customer that unless this additional work was done that the asphalt would continue to crackWhen he insisted that we repair the asphalt for no additional cost to him, we stated that excavating into the sub grade was not part of the original contract and could be done for an additional charge

Their response is a complete LIE!!! I was never told anything about undercutting anything, they came and said that the base that was there was just fine to pave over Its clear that these people are hiding behind a BS contract that makes nothing clear to the customer and leaves a gray area to cover all their basesI know what kind of garbage I'm dealing with and there is no use in continuing this discussion, I'm getting nowhere My fault I chose this company to do my work, just because they were cheaper, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FORMy family name is huge in this area and ill make sure they never get any more business in my area!!

It‘s my understanding that *** *** driveway has begun to crack and he has expectations of replacementUpon first consulting with *** *** about his driveway, it was explained to him that if he chose overlay instead of replacement this could happenHe was told that when you only cover up your existing driveway, you will experience reflective cracking from existing cracksIt was recommended that he remove the existing driveway and allow us to pave a new one to avoid the cracks, and had been given a price for removal but chose to overlay*** *** and I had a verbal agreement that this is what he wanted and that he understood all the options given to him
In accordance with industry standards, *** *** driveway should only carry a warranty of one yearIt has been twenty-one months since we paved his driveway therefore exceeding the one years time
Again, it is unsettling to hear that *** *** is unhappy with his driveway, but he was given all the options and the possible outcomesDue to this, I feel we have no obligation to *** *** at this time

Mr.*** was provided with a contract that clearly stated that the under cutting of bad soils was not included in paving over base that was put in place by someone elseOnce we set up that base and discovered unsuitable areas underneath that cannot be seen until work had begun, he was made aware of the situation and was presented with options to fix this problemHe elected to pave over areas in order to keep from changing the contract amountOnce the asphalt cracked due to these conditions, he then wanted to do the undercutting of bad soils at no chargeWe have tried to explain the situation verbally and in contract formThis is why contracts are created and signed

In response,[redacted] has forgotten most of our discussions.
He is also failing to state that he had called me prior to this complaint, with no complaints, just requesting a price to sealcoat and then stating the price was to high and he would get a quote elsewhere.

My trucks do not haul untarped loads unless the driver forgets to tarp his load. It may be possible they forgot on one occasion but twice the same day as she stated is very unlikely. Any follow up can be directed to[redacted] who is the supervisor at 864-[redacted]

I will certainly do my part in spreading the word about how this business operates.[redacted] and I both know that he has never been to my house since he gave the estimate some twenty months ago.
