On Friday, August ***, we called Devonshire Tire to help us fix an AC issueWE were told to come in on Monday August ***We got a call the same day to come in on Saturday August [redacted] @ 8amWe arrived at 8:10am and were told the job should take a couple hoursWE asked if we could charge the amount and were told yesNot only were we at the shop until 4pm, they had several problems with the jobThe final straw was when they did not have an adapter to put in the freonWe asked to pay for the parts and would return on Monday when they promised to have the adapterThe owner knew we were from out of state and we needed the car to go homeHe refused to give us our vehicle until we paid him in cashHe was adamant that if we charged the amount, we would dispute the chargeWe assured him we wouldn't and would return on Monday to complete the jobWe called the police and they were unwilling to help with our dilemmaFinally we agreed on a cash price and he was still giving us a hard tim
I went into this business to purchase tires since I needed new tiresI was sold what was explained to be new tiresAfter several months the tires began to shred and when I went to get a wheel alignment I found out that I was sold winter tires in the summer in addition to them being when I asked for all season tiresI paid $for what I thought was new tires but I was sold Canadian, used tires which appeared to be dry rotI asked for new tires, but was told that I needed to buy "new" tires again, then I asked for my money back but was told "no"

In July I had my vehicle serviced as I usually do and had a NYS Inspection In July of when it came time to renew my registration on line with NYS-DMV I could not because there was no record of my inspection transmitted by Devonshire I called NYS-DMV and asked what I could do They informed me to contact Devonshire with the number located on the sticker they attached to my window and find out in there computer records with NYS why it did not transmit and after the find out why the should contact NYS to correct the matter I called and spoke to someone who said he didn't understand and to find my receipt, he said "you got your sticker thats all I do" I found the printout of my vehicle passing inspection so I called back and some one with an accent asked who I spoke to There is o only people in the shop and one is a woman He demanded that I tell him the name of who I spoke to or he would not help me so I lost my composure and yelled and hung up on him I had to go
My Honda civic was overheating
I stopped by to Devonshire for them to look at the car
They replaced the radiator mid Fast forward Oct 2017, my daughter was driving the car and it started overheatingThe broke down and my daughter had to pay and get it towed Dropped the car at Devonshire and the next morning I called themThey said they'll look at the car They called back and said it was the radiator (They installed) asking price $1300! Ridiculous! A new radiator they installed and blew out a year later! No my daughter cannot go to work because of this inconvenience! Not to mention they refused to release the car because of $650! As far as I'm concerned, they could shove it! The first radiator cost $800!
