I purchased a Canon digital camera model 70D at this in Sep for $1,+ tax
When I got home and took the camera from the bag (which is part of the sale and the original box was disposed by the shop salesman), it turned out it is totally another model – Canon EOS Rebel T5i, model number 700DThis is a much more entry level camera with retail price about $I am attaching some online screenshot for you to tell the difference between 700D and 70D
I went back to the store the next day request to return the camera or exchange it with the right modelThe rep who sold me the camera (I believe his name is Mike) refused rudely, with the reason the camera was used and we didn’t have the original package (which was purposed disposed by them)
When we first walked in the store, we saw the price tag showing “Canon EOS 70D $1,299”But eventually they packed up a cheaper “700D” which is sold for half the priceOn the receipt the model number is written as “D700” (not even 700D the right way)The second was added afterwardsIt’s an altered receipt
This store is known to be scamming tourists on electronic devicesI am attaching another online compliant here for your referenceThey should not get paid for this fraud transaction and should be out of business

I went into this store yesterday to buy a battery for my camera, the store looked reputable from the outside.
They tried to charge me $128 for the battery and when I queried that price the manager said the salesman had got it wrong and it should be $69.
Have since found out that the batteries are $15 at good camera stores.
Am I an it for paying that price, yes, but I am elderly and did not think to [redacted] the price.
Upon checking their web site, I have found these tricksters have been ripping off people for years. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME.
This place gives NYC a bad name.

I purchased a Canon digital camera model 70D at this in Sep 2015 for $1,100 + tax.

Review: We were in New York 9-**-2015, we purchased a 2xAuto Focus tell convert or that was supposed to fit our Nikon camera. It shows for Nikon. The model is DGII made in Japan MID#[redacted]. It does not work on our camera. Talked to Nikon and they said this is not a Nikon product and they can't help us. Tried to call Carnegie back and their number is no longer in service. The lense cost us. $326.67 including tax. We feel we have been conned by them. And have no way of getting our money back.Desired Settlement: Refund
