AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE....THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!!! I own a condo in Myrtle Beach that was affected by the Hurricane in October The entire building (units) has been under repairs, and none of us homeowners have been allowed back into condo's yet During their construction, fire broke out in one of the electrical rooms, which caused extensive damage, and now several of the condos have re-developed mold ummm, how does that happen, especially when this company is supposed to be the subject matter experts & were called in because mold developed due to the water damage from the hurricane?? That tells me they have NOT followed the proper protocols & processes, which has resulted in re-contamination At this time, we have no idea when it will be re-opened, but I would bet money it isn't going to be this year When the fire occurred, rather than continuing with a "full-speed ahead" approach to complete the original repairs (and yes, they could have due to generators being brought in), they slowed things way down to a snail pace, while waiting for the parts to come in to repair the fire damage As someone who has worked in homebuilding for yrs, in both residential & multi-family, this is the WRONG approach!! There is never any sense of urgency with them, and quite frankly, judging by the pictures I have seen of the work, they definitely lack quality workmanship as well (ie: waves in the floor, low quality/cheap products, etc.) There are also pictures of the ground-floor units, of workers sitting/sleeping, instead of working Not to mention, one of their workers stole an item from condo (I'm told they have replaced it, but have yet to receive proof) Bottom line, this company lacks professionalism, professional courtesy, quality of work/products, definitely lacks any sense of urgency to complete the jobs as quickly as possible to lessen the burden on the customer/homeowner, and lacks "good customer service" attitude!!! There entire handling of this job is completely unacceptable!! After all...the Empire State Building was built in a year...what the [redacted] is A&I's problem???? They have been nothing but a nightmare & I can't wait to never ever have to deal with them again! They should not be allowed to be in business

Finish the job in the promised time frame Fire occurred 11/20/Met w/ A&I reps in Dec at which time they stated this job would take 3-mos, with a worst case scenario 5-mos In April they provided an email with a move in date of 8/1/(mos from disaster)Now A&I has said Aug 1st will not be the move in date and has not provided a date certain for move in A&I never takes responsibility for any delays They continually place blame on the County, weather, deliveries, permits, inspections etc Eight families are displaced and continue to pay a mortgage, HOA fees in addition to alternate living expenses This cannot continueSince A&I pulled permits for the building, each owner cannot move in as units are ready since a Certificate of Occupancy must be issued for the entire building I am yrs old and have leukemia I have paid $3,for a July rental since it is prime season in myrtle beachAfter July 31st I will have no where to go and fear a shelter

This company cannot handle large projects in a timely manner At first, we were told fire restoration would take 3-and possibly 5-monthsSo, we are now at about mos and they have moved the finish line againThey will not keep you up to date with truthful information and you have to do your own due diligence and keep on top of them They will never take responsibility for delaysThey blame ALL delays on the municipality, county, weather, deliveries, permits etcwithout regard to how long a homeowner lives in limboI believe they take on too many jobs, are spread too thin trying cover them all resulting in the homeowners suffering the consequencesThe Arrowhead Pointe fire was 11/20/When will this project be completed? This is taking longer than the original build

I had a fire in one room of my house in early October and contracted A&I to do the repair workThe repair work was finally finished at the end of June (months) laterI had a lock box put on the door so their was no reason that they couldn't access the houseEvery few weeks I would call to see what was taking so long and they would send workers for a few hours and then I would have to repeat the process all over againThe Insurance Adjuster and A&I did a walk through of all damage so payment was not an obstacleI could have had a whole house built in monthsI do have to admit that the workers did do a good job

Company didn't complete project Workmanship was poor quality
Our condo was flooded when the water sprinklers froze and burst on 01/07/ The project is not completed to date--03/06/ Vertical blinds were torn up by the painters; painting of walls is incomplete and unsatisfactory; paint droppings are on carpet, tile floorings, light fixtures, bathroom fixtures, cabinets; carpet is loose because of fans being placed under it to dry-out Project manager does not always follow through with his words We have spent several days waiting for workers to show up at a designated time and they did not come We were unable to cook because of the dust and toolsProject manager indicated to us that he would notify us about the cleaning expense and he has not done that
