I have been trying to resolve an outstanding balance of 20.10 on my account for more than a year. The first payment was not applied to the account, through my [redacted] who was going to charge a fee for a copy of the check. Given this balance was less than the check fee, I paid it AGAIN. The payment is still not applied to my account. Calls to Billing are put in a transfer loop, or dumped to a Collections voicemail never to be returned. You now have $40.20 of my money yet my account remains unresolved. I have researched the patients account with the information available to me and am unable to locate the payments. If the patient could provide the date or approximate date of his payments, I may be able to track them down. In the meantime, I have adjusted his balance to zero. The only way we can process a refund for the second payment is with a copy of the cancelled check or at minimum a date the check was issued to [redacted] I am happy to work directly with the patient if you would like to give him my contact information.
