I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and find
that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I received a bed from them today-WedApril 2,I am not sure how all of this works-I wanted either my money back, or to receive a bed from themSince it took months to receive my bed, I think they should still have a negative remark on their file-I will never buy from them again and I certainly WILL NOT EVER recommend them to anyone.I fully believe that had I not filed a complaint with your office, I would STILL be waiting on a bedPlease advise as to whether they will have anything negative listed in their file and if so-for how long?
I believe the public should know who they are getting involved with and what they can expect

Review: I ordered a bedroom set from this company in November of 2013. I was told I needed to pay upfront and that my products would be in within 4-6 weeks. It is now February 2014 and I have not received my furniture. I have called numerous times and sales associates and managers do not know where my furniture is. When I email their "corporate email" I hear nothing back. I asked about a refund and was told there would be absolutely no refund.Desired Settlement: I would like my products to be delivered in full, considering I paid in full.

Review: I purchased bunk beds on lay away at their [redacted] store. Before I completely paid it off the store closed and I paid for the bunk beds at the store in PA. Never received the bunk beds so I asked the manager [redacted] for a full refund and he said ok. It has now been over two months and still have not received a refund. I contacted the owner and he said he would help me out and now will not return emails or phone calls. The amount was $1097.00Desired Settlement: To get a full refund without taking them to court. I am 76 years old an on a fixed income.

Review: We purchased a mattress from Carolina Furniture and Bedding August 8,2013. We were not told until after running our card that it would take a week to 10 days. After that period of time we called and were told it usually takes 3 weeks. We have been waiting 6 weeks and can get no satisfaction. No one at the store has answers for us. I was told by one employee I could go find the truck and get the mattress off myself and then hung up on.I at one point got a email from the owner but he has stopped returning my emails. There seems to be no real way of contacting anyone.Desired Settlement: We want our mattress and to be compensated for the absolute frustration of this mess. If that cannot happen we want our money returned to us in cash and want compensated for this frustration immediately.We would also like a real explanation and apology.

Review: More to write then I am allowed. This company stole $720.94 on a layaway bed for my 4 year old daughter that I have receipts that I paid of and was told I would receive in 4-6 weeks on April 12, 2014. Called on May 2,2014 and received a message that the company no longer exists. E-mailed the e-mail address on the voicemail and asked for refund, was told company went under and that I would receive refund on bed in 2 weeks or so. Almost two months after I initially purchased the bed and was lied to and told that they were not going out of business was the store looked empty and I asked and 3 1/2 weeks since I was told I was going to get a refund check in the amount of $720.94 Now to hear that they don't know when I will get a refund. They stole my money and did not provide me with a product, have fed me a bunch of lies and have disappointed a 4 year old little girl who went and looked at her bed each month that we paid on it (a princess loft bed with slide and [redacted] mattress.Desired Settlement: Want my refund of $720.94 immediately! I have since had to purchase another bed for my 4 year old daughter in the amount of $700.00+ from a reliable furniture company, [redacted], out of pocket.

Review: I ordered a bed and mattress from this business 8 weeks ago and paid for the order and delivery costs . When I placed my order I was told that my bed would be here in 4-6 weeks and they would call me before they would deliver it . I was informed by an employee on March 26 that the bed was in their [redacted] store and would be delivered to their store hopefully the next week. So I called the store on April 2 the bed still had not been delivered and they would call me when it came. I recalled the store today April 9 and was told by an employee that the store owner was to bring my bed up but has failed to do so. When I asked if I could have the store owners number so I could talk to him the employee informed me he doesn't allow them to give it out. I have no way else to contact the owner to resolve this issue.Desired Settlement: I would like my order delivered and as compensation for the extra wait I would like a portion of my money refunded due to their bad service.

Review: In April I placed a layway of bunk beds, slats and 2 twin mattresses with Carolina Bedding and Furniture and put $200 down on it. couple months later I put $50 more on it and then on November 6th I paid it off with $238.65 at which time I was told it would take 4-6 weeks for the order to ship and be ready for pick up. On the 6th week I called to see when we would be able to pick up our order because it was the weekend before Christmas and it was a present for our sons. I was told that there had been a delay on my order from the furniture company it was ordered from due to weather and that it would take 2-4 weeks more. I was offered the floor model to replace my order, I declined because I didn't buy a floor model and didn't want one. I called 2 weeks later to see if there was a update and I was told there still was no change or posted deliver date yet so I then called 2 weeks later and talked to the manager, he told me the same thing and that he would call the company and get a better answer for me and call me back. I did not hear back from him. I called the next week and was told by the employee that they did not know the details of my order and would leave a note for the manager to call me, I did not hear from him. I called the next week and got the same response and did not hear back from him. I called the following week and got the same response again, did not get a call back so I stopped in at the store. I was told by the employee that the manager got busy and forgot to call me and they would leave another message for him to call me the next day. she also told me that the reason my order did not come in is because they no longer order from that furniture company and they had been switching out orders with similar products from another company. I still have not had a returned call from the manager and any employee I have talked to can not do anything for my situtation. So I have been waiting for 14 weeks for an order that I was told would only take 6 weeks and I had already took down the toddler beds my 2 toddler sons had been sleeping in the week before getting ready for the birth of my 3rd son and Christmas so they have been sleeping on their toddler mattress on the floor for the last 12 weeks.Desired Settlement: All I wanted was my order BUT after my numerous attempts to contact the manager for any details about my order and getting no respect of a call back or any hurry to resolve the matter, I just want my money back so I can take my business else where
