These people are con artists! Read the numerous other reviews about customers complaining they received dead or dying tadpoles in the mail! I am in good company when it comes to receiving DEAD ANIMALS from Carolina Biological! They didn't give me a credit UNTIL I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com
These people are CON ARTISTS and I think they should be shut down! Several product reviewers noted these con artists ship tadpoles that are not capable of surviving shipment, therefore they dieThese animal-abusing shysters need to be SHUT DOWN!

Carolina Biological Supply is committed to 100% customer satisfaction and quality productsWe were recently made aware of this customer’s issues with the delivery of live ants for his child’s Christmas giftThe order was placed on December 16th with an expected ship date of 10-days later which
would be have been between December 26th and December 30thUnfortunately, our company was closed from December 23rd through January 1stThe ants ship via USPS and can only be processed and shipped on MondaysOur computer system manually calculates an expected date based on calendar days which displayed a projected arrival date of January 4thDue to Christmas and New Year’s Day being holidays which both happened to occur on Mondays this year, the order was not processed and shipped until January 8thThere were weather delays and postal service issues that further complicated and delayed delivery of the antsThey did not arrive until January 17th and due to the extended transit time and weather conditions, they did not arrive aliveWhen the customer contacted us on January 17th, we were experiencing a winter weather storm and the company had closed unexpectedly for the safety of the employeesRegarding the customer’s review, the post was rejected due to parameters set by the company that services our ratings and reviews programIt was not rejected because it was negative as we fairly post reviews of all ratings on our websiteSince we received this complaint, we have issued a full credit for the antsOur department head of customer service has also spoken with the customer and explained the nature of how the live orders are shipped in relation to kits and all the weather issues we had encountered which further complicated his efforts to get resolutionShe offered him a complimentary kit of his choice whenever he is ready for his child’s next experimentShe gave him her direct contact information so he can reach her anytimeShe has also assured him that we will be manually retrieving his review and posting it to our website right awayThe customer expressed his appreciation in how this was resolved and said he would be willing to add another comment to his post about his satisfaction in how we responded to his complaintOur company prides itself on excellent customer service, and we believe this instance was a culmination of several unavoidable events that caused frustration for our customerWe intend for every customer to have a great experience with our company and we will do whatever is necessary to make sure that issues are resolved in a timely manner and customers are satisfied with their products and service we provide
