Do not do business with Prime Storage in Poertersville or Erie Pa Damaged a Twenty thousand dollar new parking lot and claims no responsibilityIn back of contract it says he can't be responsibleA joke
Norb is the owner and he is rude and iuncooperable
Im sure a monkey could have dropped the unit and done less damage than this guy did
I have all pics and proof of damage
To many of these storage businesses to take a chance on him

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2016/05/05) */
To whom it may concern,
This unit has been at a number of Ford dealers for the repairNexus uses a local Ford dealer to make repairs if needed on a Ford concernNexus also is part of the Ford QVM programThe program dictates that Nexus
conforms to criteria set forth by FordPart of this criteria is that the clamps and fill neck supplied by Ford must be used
Ford dealers work on a flat rate for repairsObviously this repair has been documented by Ford and as Ford has replaced the entire system they suggest this is not their concernNexus contends that since multiple repairs have been attempted and this odd clamp has been installed it exonarates Nexus from this concernWhat Ford dealer installed the clamp?
The local Ford dealer if called would have had a service technician diagnose the issue and if needed sent the unit back to their shop for repairsThe Ford technician would not have given his blessing to drive back homeNor would Nexus insist that the unit be returned to Nexus to work on a Ford issue
Nexus has a month warrantyThese items have been addressed by Ford without any involvement from NexusThe month period has expired and the Nexus warranty has expired
In a good will gesture Nexus proposed to the customer that it would send half of the amount of the invoice to himThe customer responded by filing a complaint
In summary this appears to be a Ford issue handled by FordWith multiple repairs performed by multiple Ford dealers and the latest dealer having the unit for the second timeThis just doesn't add up as being a body builder issue from the startWith many of the fuel delivery components changed by individual Ford dealers this is not a Nexus issue
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2016/05/12) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The response from Nexus is unacceptable to usAs we stated in our complaint, the over-sized clamp #was installed at Nexus on 4/25/15, following a consult between Nexus and their local Ford dealerThe other Ford dealers became involved after that, because the engine light kept returning shortly after every fix attemptThis is why we have had many ongoing communications with Nexus about our dissatisfaction*** *** Ford finally determined that the over-sized clamp was the source of the chronic vapor leakWe should not be monetarily penalized for purchasing a new motorhome that never performed properly, despite our efforts to get it fixedThis unit has already caused out-of-pocket expenses for multiple trip delaysIn addition, before we ordered the rv, the Nexus salesman assured us that Nexus would provide us with a nearby service provider by the time that our unit was completedThis has not happened yetWe need more than a half-hearted goodwill gestureWe need reimbursement for the cost of the vapor leak repair
Final Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2016/05/20) */
Nexus will pay for the billNexus does not accept any responsibility nor does it extend any warranty considerationsWe appreciate doing business with Mr*** but this concludes our obligation on this motorhome
Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 12, 2016/05/24) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
The proposed repair reimbursement is a fair resolution and we are eager to move on and start enjoying our motorhomeWe are hopeful that the problem is finally fixed, and we will not be seeking further warranty-related repairsWe charged the repair and will be needing reimbursement to come directly to us from Nexus

To whom it may concern,
First, Nexus RV is not the manufacturer of the Avion Van purchased by Mr*** ***Nexus RV is the selling
dealership and in spite of several derogatory comments laced with profanity both in writing and over the phone, our President *** *** did speak to Mr*** about his concernsFrom that meeting, The RV FACTORY, agreed to fix all the issues at the plant and as the manufacturer they did soIf there is incomplete repairs, or more repairs, the RV FACTORY remains able willing and ready to fixSecond, Mr*** claims we were dishonest regarding the model year of the unitThis is simply not true, as is protocol, the conversion of a motorhome has a separate serial number and model year from the chassis portion of the unitIn this case, we advertised and sold a sprinter chassis on a Avion upfitThis is industry standard and communicated properlyIf there is an issue with the start date of the warranty through Mercedes, we will assist in correcting that but the chassis warranty is separate from the RV warranty
It is our goal to make Mr*** happy and to fix any defects upon receipt of this listWe invite him to come to our facility and we will complete
Professionally

I have returned all your calls and emails. You and I talked and set up a time for Nexus to send two techs from Nexus down to your house to repair the leaks before you sent this complaint.Yesterday ( January 18 )the Nexus service...

techs repaired all leaks and water tested the unit and you witnessed the water test and no leaks the techs went over what they found and how they corrected the problems. You have no more issues at this time, and you are still under warranty, so if anything else comes up we are here to help.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2017/01/25) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Since Nexus techs have left, it has rained. I am aware of at least one leak that is still in my storage hatch. Because of this leak I have lost two storage bags that my folding camping chairs are stored inside. (Due to mildew/mold, because the hatch was wet and I was unaware of it). Although I have been contacted by service techs one of the main complaints is I still have NOT received a courtesy call from the owners of Nexus. When it rains some more as it is forecasted in the near future I will let you know about any other leaks. Also I have a short trip planned and will advise then also. Please do not close out my complaint just yet. T'anks
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2017/01/25) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I will accept only when I know the leaks are repaired. As the Director of service recommended. Take my trip and let them (Nexus) know. Please keep my complaint open and I will advise you also. T'anks.

THE CUSTOMERS TOOK DELIVERY OF THE UNIT IN SEPTEMBER OF 2016. FROM WHAT THEY TOLD MY SERVICE DEPARTMENT THEY DROVE TO AN OUTSIDE STORAGE FACILITY WHERE THEY LEFT THE UNIT UNTIL THEY WENT TO PICK IT UP RECENTLY WHERE THEY CLAIM TO HAVE FOUND...

SEVERAL INCHES OF WATER. WE HAVE NO IDEA IF THEY LEFT A WINDOW OPEN OR WHAT THE CAUSE IS. NEXUS OFFERED TO HAVE THEM TAKE TO A SERVICE CENTER TO HAVE CHECKED OUT. THEY REFUSED SERVICE AND SAID THEY WERE TAKING UNIT TO DROP IT OFF AND LEAVING THE KEYS IN IT. THEY HAVE ABANDONED THEIR UNIT. WE STAND WILLING TO HELP WITH ANY WARRANTY ISSUE THERE MIGHT BE WITH THE UNIT. SORRY I'M NOT YELLING I JUST REALIZED I WROTE THIS WITH ALL CAPITAL LETTERS.THANK YOU

Based on the poor response in the past from the onwer of Nexus, I never really expected them to do the right thing and take possession of the RV back. But, I certainly did not take him for a liar. Yes, we did take possession of the RV in September. While driving the RV home, my husband did contact [redacted] (told he's no longer with the company) to let him know that there was trouble with front window (windshield), which was replaced on site before we took possession of the RV. We did not just take the unit to a storage facility and leave it there until May. We did contact the dealer again regarding more issues found in December, when we took the RV down to Florida. We were in touch with [redacted] (see attached e-mail dating back in December) We were never sent any information on how to get the items repaired. We reached out to Nexus again and again (see attached e-mails) requesting that the items be repaired. We have not abandoned our unit, that is a total fabrication! In fact, we have been in contact with the current service manager,(evidently there is a high turnover on employees) [redacted], who finally provided us with the information needed to take our RV to be fixed. (see attached e-mail) The biggest problem we have now is that due to the negligence of the technician who installed the window when we took possession of the unit, water damage and mold have now destroyed any chance my family had to use the unit. The damage was cause by improper installation of the front windshield, and you can't really leave that window down.

Nexus set up a appointment for you to take your coach in for a leak and some repairs it has been rain tested 2 times with no leaks and I also ask for pics of any mold as stated and I am told the service center cant find any. So I am having the service center remove some panels in the front and take pics and send them to me .As stated in the Nexus RV Warranty maintenance is not covered by are warranty and the rest of your list of repairs are being addressed by the service center under warranty and [redacted] has been updating you by email ( I am copied)So Nexus RV is standing behind their product.[redacted] and Lori are customer service reps .

The unit in question is a 2004 Alumascape travel trailer manufactured by Holiday Rambler. This used item was presented to the [redacted] before...

any paperwork was prepared for inspection. The customer was notified that the trailer was being sold "as is". During the inspection it was found the power cord had been severed. Even though a PDI had been performed 2 weeks earlier the cord was now missing. Another cord was installed in the coach. After the installation of the cord, the air conditioner worked, entertainment center worked, microwave worked but display did not. Hot water was working as well. The customer was present and was shown what was working and what was not operating properly. The ceiling fan was intermittent and would not stay engaged. The customer stated he was a handyman and could repair the items that needed help.
After a unit tis traded in Nexus dumps the tanks at the Elkhart Campground and performs a PDI before presenting the unit for sale. In this case the unit was checked in and went thru the PDI 10 months previous and then again two weeks before the sale.
This customer had called me on Sunday July 19th and gave his name as Al. Al then asked what warranty would be on a used "as is" unit from Nexus. The explanation of no warranty or implied warranties after the sale. He then informed me that he was turning us into the Revdex.com because we didn't fix his coach. Even though the customer signed the "as is" no warranty form he still believed he has a 30 day warranty.
Things happen during camping that requires repairs and cause item to leak. The unit passed [redacted] water test twice at Nexus but apparently failed with the customer. The leak could be a gasket breached, flusher on the toilet kicked, water line connection vibrated loose etc. Used coaches and travel trailers are not in Nexus control and can only be checked after the unit is submitted to Nexus.
Nexus takes great effort to check all units for any defects or issues and cannot be held responsible for actions that it does not control.
OFFER:
Nexus will send to the customer a remote controlled fan but will not pay for the installation.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

I purchased a 2015 36G. It was in the repair shop more than it was being used. I don't know if others have had the same experiences with their NexusRV products but this is the one I had....The clothes pole fell, it was stapled to the ceiling paneling with 6 staples. The passenger [redacted] belt reel was not fastened to the truck body. The heat pump failed the 3rd day into the trip. One of the room slides continued to fail because Nexus RV installed the wrong size motors and the slide system incorrectly. It took them from June to Dec to get the slide fixed. It took several request to find what the max water pressure was and months for what the GCWR was....They talk about dealing direct with the owners, they only time they're involved is to take your money. I sent an email to the President outlining my issues and was shuffled off to the sales person. I could go on and on but all I can say is I hope you have a different experience if you choose to go with Nexus.

Unhappy with their customer service...I have owned a couple of motor homes. I am a travel nurse and live in mine full-time. Last year I purchased a Nexus Viper 29MM that was only a year old at the time and was in love with it. It had all the amenities I wanted and was very comfortable in it. That is until the rain hit where I was.. At first I didnt notice the leaking because it was in a closet and a cabinet that I did not get into very much, also the storage under the rig was not noticed either because again, I did not get under there much. About a month later I had to get into the closet for something and noticed there was mold growing on my clothes. Then I started searching for other places and that is when I found over my cabinet the linens and towels were growing hair and in the front cab on the floor board where I had stuff stored was also moldy. I began cleaning the mold which was a big chore. Then we got more rain while I was at work and when I got home my entire desk was wet, papers and computer and dripping onto the floor. I called customer service and talked to Steve and was very upset to find that their service was not very "customer friendly" Basically I was told that "I" had to find and pay for the person to come out and decide where the leak was and that since everything was out of warranty I would be responsible. Ummm people, this is a rig that is only 2 years old!

the customer was aware of the options and the standards on the unit, it is posted on our website and on our literature. We work hard to make sure all potential customers are informed properly

The owners of Nexus Corp. were pior Gulfstream employees that made Gulfstream RVs. I'm sure they were quite aware of the differences of our Gulfstream Endura on a Kodiak chassis and their Nexus' 2018 Phantom on a International Chassis. They didn't know? I beg to differ.
They may make a good product but they pulled the rug over my wife's and my eyes. The truth was not given and I'll swear to that on any Bible.

Looking to by a class C but from the looks of these reviews. I will be shopping for a different motor home. I wonder why the president did not respond to the negative comments? I only saw him respond to the one positive comment. That told me a lot about their business ethics.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2016/06/14) */
Although this warranty is covered by our chassis vendor. Nexus will reimburse Mr. [redacted].

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2016/11/21) */
Nexus does not offer a Nexus Warranty to a second owner the only warranties that would have still been good was component warranties like steps, fridge, furnace, and so on
