unauthorized repair of weedeater/ unauthorized chargesI have never been so ticked off with a repair service. The owner is extremely rude. I should have walked out after sensing this when I went in to have the unit repaired over a month ago. They charged 39.50 for a diagnostic fee (no problem) and said they would call me with an estimate (which they never did-PROBLEM). I called them on a Monday (over a month later) and they said the part arrived yesterday (impossible-Sunday) and it would be ready Tuesday. When I showed up, he said my balance was $55 (total of 95) to replace a fan cover. Are you kidding me????? The part itself was 13.99. He said they had an hour of labor in it (this would be about $80). Are you kidding me?????? that's more than an auto mechanic makes!!! I asked him to take the part off and give me my weedeater back, and he said he wouldn't take another hour to do that. I feel like they stole my weedeater.
