I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I don't think the business owner addressed the fact that I was getting offered a 20% discount at a competing company (that did not complete a mistake) and the associate that was assisting me stated that price matches are not guarantees, but are only entertained. If this is the case, I think the price match 'promise' should be removed from the website. I am no longer interested in purchasing an item from this company, but I do feel like this is false advertising and needs to be addressed. Thanks,[redacted]

Hi [redacted],I am truly sorry for the pricing error you incurred on our website with your diamond ring purchase. As we mentioned to you on the phone there was an error during the checkout process on our website when the $1,600 price you saw for the band went all the way down to $200 for no reason at...
all when you added it to your cart. I’m sure you can understand that as a business we are unable to honor such a drastic price difference as that is well beyond our cost of the ring. We do have a disclaimer on our website for this reason but what happened during your order was an extremely rare occurrence. We did offer you a 15% discount on the ring if you still wanted to order it taking this inconvenience into consideration. I am sorry to hear this was not an acceptable discount for you and that you wanted to pay no more than $1,000 for the ring. As a fifth generation family owned business I can assure you that the error on our website is not something that was done intentionally and it is something we have since corrected. We strive for an excellent customer experience with every single transaction and I am very sorry for not accomplishing that with your order.
