Carolina Roofing, Siding and Window

Richard Stone's company was hired to repair 2 leaking windows in 3/2019. He initially recommended only sealing both windows for $400. I did question him about his ability to handle window repairs. He noted his company was very capable of handling the issue. The person he sent out to do the caulking only did 1 window. I questioned Richard about this and he noted he felt the water was coming in from the top and running down along the bottom. He deducted $100 but again only did half the job.The windows immediately started leaking again. After spending a great deal of time trying to get Richard to address the issue again (month) and having to contact him multiple times and him not showing up multiple times, he finally recommended replacing the flashing around the windows, taping them and replacing the siding. I questioned him if this was necessary and if the actual defect was with the window itself. He assured me he has been doing this for many years and has never seen a vinyl window leak and it was not the window. The estimate was 2700-3500. The cost was 3500. He never could explain why there was such a difference and never provided me with a breakdown of the cost. He assured me that he did not see anyway possible for the windows to continue to leak but they immediately did. Also his workers left the job incomplete, not finishing the painting and tearing a screen. He was paid in full immediately after the job. He assured me he would return ASAP to finish the painting and screen repair. Again after he no showed many times and me contacting him every week to 2 weeks, he sent someone out to finish the painting and repair the screen 6 months later. He also admitted that windows were not his specialty after the 2nd repair. He has yet to resolve the issue and has left me hanging. I diagnosed the problem myself and made him aware of the fact months ago. He guaranteed his work and assured me he would not charge for any further repairs, until he realized I needed new windows and since then, no contact
