*** We called the bride when the bridesmaid dresses came in on 6-20-She said that she would call all of the bridesmaids and let them know that the dresses were in and that they had until July 20th to pick them upYour dress was the only gown that was not picked up within the
allotted day time frame that is explained on your signed receiptWe normally add a $late pick up fee that was waived for you because the bride did not give a specific dateWhen you came to pick up your gown on 7-31-you declined to try on the gown hereWe received a phone call from the bride the next day on 8-1-saying that the gown is too smallI told her for you to come in and try the gown on for us so we can make sure it was measuring correctlyYou came in on that Saturday 8-2-The dress was at least inches too smallI then re-measured you as well as the dressThe dress was measuring Bust Waist Hip Your original measurements were Bust Waist Hip which for a size by *** *** the measurements are supposed to be Bust Waist Hips I then re-measured you and your measurements were Bust Waist Hip There is no physical way that anyone could have mis-measured by inchesHowever, you claimed that you hadn’t gained weightI nicely said that I would call *** *** first thing Monday morning when they opened to see if they would not only fix the original sizing issue of the size (which is what was originally signed and agreed upon) but if there was any way they would change to a size I called *** *** as soon as I got to the store on Monday 8-4-and they said that they would be able to replace the original size at a rush fee of $(typically *** *** would cover this free of charge since it was their error, however we were not in the day time frame and the wedding date was only a few weeks away) or that they we could pay an extra $for the size (which is their policy, not Carolina Traditions) so a total of $I called you immediately to see what you would like to do I suggested to order the and that it would only be $extraOut of sympathy I was going to pay for the size charge because I did not want you to feel bad about the personal weight gainHowever, because it was not my fault that this was after the day allotted time frame *** *** gives us to replace a gown I asked that you pay the $rush feeYou then rudely yelled at me on the phone and hung upI immediately called back to settle the situation and your mom answered the phoneI nicely apologized for the original mis-sizing of the dress and explained the situationI then offered to pay for the rush fee just because it was becoming more of an issue then it needed to be and I wanted the situation resolved as quickly and as efficiently as possibleThe size came in on 8-27-and was measuring correctlyThis is the first time we are hearing that it was too smallI feel we have gone over and above already by covering the $charge from *** *** and any other alterations that were needed due to weight gain are not our responsibility as stated in the attached signed receipt.*** *** Carolina Traditions***

[redacted], We spoke Monday 9-8-2014 and I told you that if you send the dress back to me I would measure and if the bust is measuring incorrectly like you say that I would have a seamstress that we use to let the dress out free of charge to the measurements a size 8 is supposed to be which is 35. As...

of the other issues you pointed out let me address them again. First I would like to address the issue that you stated that the pleats in the front of the dress are all hanging, and the lining at the top is not stitched properly. When the dress left our store everything was stitched properly and the pleats in the front were all stitched down and they tighten once the dress is put on. There was nothing wrong with the dress to the visible eye when the dress left our store. As to the sizing we have been having a few issues with [redacted]. We do not measure every dress as it comes in because we entrust that the manufacturer is sending us what we ordered. As long as the issue is brought to our attention within 30 days of the dress coming in we can fix the problem. On 3-18-2014 you placed the order for the dress with [redacted]. You called in your measurements we did not measure you here. She advised you over the phone that your bust was measuring a size 10 and your waist a size 12. You stated that you have never ordered those sizes before and that the last bridesmaid dress you ordered was a size 6 by [redacted] and it had to be taken in. You then said that you did not want to order anything bigger than a size 8 that you felt that you had maybe had been measured incorrectly and you felt confident that an 8 would fit. We sent you a receipt via e-mail and you sent us back a signed receipt agreeing to the size 8. The dresses came in on 6-20-2014. We did not hear from you until 8-12-2014 when you called and spoke with [redacted] and stated that you were 3 months pregnant and that the dress zipped all the way except and inch from the top. [redacted] asked if you were hooking the top first and you said no. She then told you that it is always easier to zip if you hook the dress at the top and then zip it. You could not find the eye for the hook and [redacted] told you that it is a hidden eye at the top of the zipper. You then stated that you thought maybe your dress was sized incorrectly via the manufacturer. You had just found out that one of the other bridesmaids dresses did not have the correct measurements for that particular size via the manufacturer and we fixed that immediately for that bridesmaid. [redacted] then put you on hold and [redacted] got on the phone. [redacted] instructed you that if you thought that the gown is measuring incorrectly then we would need to measure the dress and take care of it as soon as possible and before any alterations were done. We did not hear back from you until Monday 9-8-2014 when you called and said that your seamstress measured the dress and it was not measuring correctly. Your seamstress measured the gown Bust 30 Waist 27. The size chart for [redacted] states that the measurements should be Bust 35 Waist 26.5. I first inquired as to why it took you so long to contact us again on this matter. I told you that because the wedding is on 9-27-2014 that we would not be able to place a re-order because of the time frame but I would check to see if [redacted] had anything in stock. I called immediately and they did not. I then called you right back and left two messages. When you returned my call I told you [redacted] did not have anything in stock and stated that I would need to measure the dress to make sure it is measuring incorrectly and if it was then I would fix it free of charge via a seamstress of my choosing. As previously explained to the customer we needed to verify that the dress was not measuring correctly. You stated that you wanted the dress to be exactly what you ordered which is the bust measurement of 35 for a size 8. Due to the fact that we now only have nineteen days until the wedding date and I cannot get a replacement via [redacted] this was my solution to fix the matter. We ended the phone conversation with you agreeing to my solution and you were trying to figure out the quickest way to get the dress to me. [redacted] Carolina Traditions

[redacted],
I wanted to update you for the complaint ID[redacted]. Last week on Friday [redacted] came to [redacted] who is the alterations lady I was going to have look at the Bust and let out the Bust for her which was the area she said was measuring 30 when for a [redacted] size 8 it should have been Measuring 35. [redacted] measured the dress in front of her and the Bust was actually measuring 34. Because it was still not exactly what the dress should have been measuring so I paid for the bust to be let out an inch which was $15 and then she paid [redacted] the remaining balance and had her do the alterations for the dress. To my knowledge she was ok and thankful that I still helped with the alterations even though it was not as far off as she had said. We always try to handle every situation as best as we can and I just wanted to let you know how everything was handled! [redacted]
