We are a small family owned company that has been in business for over years because we work very hard and do our best on each and every trailer we buildBut we are not perfect and realize MrB***'s trailer was painted the wrong colorWe had several very similar trailers coming off the line
at the same time and some paperwork was inadvertently switched. We did offer to repaint the trailer for MrB*** immediately while it was still close to our office and have it ready in just a day or twoHowever, MrB*** instead chose to accept delivery of the trailer even after receiving pictures and being notified of the colorOur office manager talked to MrB*** several times throughout the course of the day as phone records could readily showAlthough I was out of town, as the owner, I emailed MrB*** as well and called himAs a company, we were discussing several options on the best way to assist MrB***, even though he had accepted the trailer and taken it miles away from our location. Apparently, MrB*** felt that just over hours was too long of a time frame to get the situation completely resolvedHowever, in this case, given the fact the trailer was now miles away because he accepted delivery of the trailer, finding a solution was much more difficult and time consumingOne or two business days is just not enough time for us to locate and receive painting estimates from contractors in his area and try to schedule the workHe requested $1,without receiving any estimates himself or having personal knowledge on the cost of repainting his trailer

P*** B***I had already paid for a hauler to come and get the trailer and pick up another piece of my equipment with itThere was no way the hauler was going to wait for the trailer to be painted by this company as he has other commitments to deal with and time was a factorI explicitly explained that to Buffy at Carolina trailer and she had absolutely no sympathy for my predicamentI was told I would get a call back that day to resolve it but received no call at allThe next day I had to call back myself and was told they deliberately did not call me back because they didn't want to speak to me if I was upset, something I myself would never tell a customerI was told by the owner to get estimates for repainting and they will reimburse me so that is what I'm doingI guest at what I'd would cost based on a paint job from years ago but I was wrongI'll have estimates in writing by this afternoon and I was told verbally that it would be around $
