Carolyn Doxie Photography

Review: My husband and I used Carolyn Doxie Photography for our wedding held in April of 2012. In our contract it states that "Wedding images, gallery, 1 proof book, and slideshow must be provided to The Client by June 9, 2012. [redacted] gave us the option to receive a proof book with all images or a leather bound album with only a certain amount of chosen images. We selected the leather bound option and sent her an email with the pictures we chose. This took a lot of effort on our part to get this portion of our package complete. After not hearing from [redacted] for months we were told in Oct. of 2012 that she had sent the book back because it was not to her liking and that we would have it no later than 11/02/12. After that date passed with no book in hand I again contacted her and was told that the balance had not yet been paid and that she had family and health issues that had caused her to pay little attention to her business obligations. She offered to refund us the percentage of our package delegated for the book and still send us the book not later than our one year anniversary. We received the refund in December of 2012, $250. Our anniversary was April 28 of this year and we have not heard form [redacted] since January of 2013 even though I have messaged her via phone and Facebook.

I would like the book. If [redacted] is not willing to produce the book then I would like the name of the company & the transaction number of the order she has placed but not paid in full so that we may acquire the book through our own means. If she can do neither I would like an additional refund to cover the cost of having to have another photographer put a book together for us. We have been given an estimate of $265. This will cover also any pain and suffering she has caused us for a year.
