Story time - I saw a great deal on a Ford Fusion located up in Akron, OH (I live in Atlanta, GA) at Serpentini Chevy on Autotrader After calling the dealership several times to explain why we would do business with them ("reputable", honest dealer), exchanging pictures of "all" the visible damage, and addressing the clean CarFax and their "point safety inspection", we agreed on a price and decided to put a down payment on the vehicle to hold it They were very responsive throughout the purchasing process and all their sales staff were accommodating, even offered to pick me up from the airport because I was going to drive it home and they did a pretty decent paint touch up of a small cosmetic issue near the driver side rear exhaust So here's where we run into trouble: on the drive from the airport to the dealership, I noticed the right blinker was blinking quickly, usually indicating a weak/dead headlamp, so I asked the tech driving me to do another check that all the headlamps were working before I left while I filled out the paperwork I do a quick visual inspection of the vehicle to confirm it looks as pictured, which it was The tech comes back as I finish up financing paperwork and tells me everything is good to go and I start my hour drive homeOn the way home I notice a few small things that need to be fixed (driver rear door had no door jam, a rear AC vent had a handle broken, and I wanted to check on that blinker) So I take it to my local Ford dealer that I've used for years now and they fix all the issues, EXCEPT for the blinker Why you ask? Because the car has been in a collision and it was unreported and the repairs/services weren't either Either Serpentini's point inspection doesn't involve opening the hood and checking for issues (NEGLIGENCE) or they saw they issues and didn't disclose them to me (FRAUD)At this point, I don't want the car any more The ONLY reason I would drive across the country for a car is that I was ENSURED the vehicle was clean Turns out, upon opening the hood, the tech was able to identify several bolts that had been broken, broken pieces of plastic, my right headlight was completely out (both high and low beam), and fisheye all over the hood - thus voiding the factory warranty Both the GM of Sales and the GM of Serpentini refused to buy back the car, but offered to pay for the repairs Take note here - having "service work" done on my vehicle shows up on CarFax because it was done by a certified Ford Tech and they report everything, thus reducing the resale value PLUS I don't know the severity of the issues and whether or not they'll cause issues down the road (the reason I wanted a clean vehicle)They paid me for the cost of Ford's diagnosis and for the Ford repairs, but refused to pay for the repainting of the hood because "it's cosmetic" That kind of pissed me off because it was clearly a byproduct of the impact that caused the issue with the electrical wiring with the headlamp causing the shortMoral of the story - BE AWARE OF JUST TAKING THEIR WORD ON THE VEHICLE! HAVE IT CHECKED BY A TRUSTED MECHANIC! A clean CarFax means nothing if the shops aren't transparent about it's past They'll work with you to rectify a problem, but it will be completely on their terms 2/stars for selling me a vehicle that was in a collision, not buying it back, and refusing to pay for all repairs related to the collision that wasn't supposed to have been there

On 1/26/I rescheduled an appointment with Jon V for an SUVHe stated not a problem, we can take care over everything on 1/28/On 1/28/after submitting my information he informs me the vehicle is no longer available I would not trust Serpentini Chevrolet Tallmadge, as they are not a credible organization and I am grateful I did not purchase a vehicle from this entity Please consumers take your business to other organizations

I purchased a used Dodge Ram from Serpentini Chevrolet in Tallmadge, Ohio on June 4th, In the days I have had the truck, I've had to take it back timesI took the truck on or around June 5th to fix an issue with the rear brakes and to have the truck detailedThey had it for days and the truck was not detailed even though the sales man, Chris D***, had called me on or around the morning of June 12th and told me that he had sent the truck out be detailed and the interior steamed cleanedI took it back on or around June 17th for a loud popping noise in the rear end under acceleration and to once again have the truck detailedThe cause and fix for the popping in the rear end was explained to me as a "Loose rear control arm bolt" that was tightenedThe detail was also completed on the truck at this time They had the truck for daysI took the truck to Conrads Tire Express on July 1st to have the tires balanced, where the mechanic that inspected my truck found a bad right outer tie rod and a bad left lower ball jointThe truck was once again returned to Serpentini on July 3rd to fix these issues and was returned to me on July 6thThey had the truck for days, not including the July 4th holidayOn the evening of July 16th while driving home from work the popping noise in the rear end returnedAfter inspecting the rear control arm bolts, I found the front nut and bolt of the right rear lower control arm loose and tightened it approximately turns, which made the noise worse and made it sound exactly like it did when I took the truck back on or around June 17thUpon loosening the nut and bolt approximately turns the noise has drastically reduced but has not totally dissipated, leaving me to believe that their original "fix" on or around June 17th was to loosen the nut and bolt on the control arm thus reducing the stress on the control arm bushing until the noise went away instead of replacing the control arm or the control arm bushingI will be replacing the control arm myself this coming weekend instead of returning the truck to Serpentini Chevrolet for a 4th timeThis is, by far, the worse experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle from either a dealership or private ownerOut of the first I owned the truck, it was in for a service related issue at Serpentini Chevrolet for of those days and had less than miles put on the truck between the purchase date of June 4th and the last time I took it back on July 3rd

Advertising non-existent features, warranties, & maintenance plans Having me purchase warranties they advertised it had
I left a message for Chris, the sales manager, who has not called me back have written them via their survey as well Their web add clearly said the automobile I purchased had heated seats and mirrors and seemed to indicate it has 2yr/24K mi warranty as well as a CPO Maintenance Plan When I got home and read the manual and found the heated seat control should be on the door- my worst suspicions were confirmed when I spoke to Bill, my salesman today and he told me there were no heated seats and there was a disclaimer on the website
The disclaimer is under "specifications" and is in the same color font as "specifications." The heated seats, heated mirrors (I don't even know if I have those now), warranty, and the CPO Maintenance Plan are all under "Description" which is in a different font color and seems clearly to be describing this unique automob

I purchased a Chevy Equinox from this dealership in August of tis past year Salesman we had Jim was excellent and very courteous to us I drove it for a couple of months and than issues started I called on two different occasions to talk to them about the issue and got talked down to the first time so when I called back the second time I got hung up on and no one ever called me Back at all I was so mad at this point my boyfriend called and he talked a guy about the issues and he danced around saying why didn't she bring it back into dealership and be said why should she after she was treated that way Then my boyfriend asked him what he would do and he says the same thing and not be treated that way So needless to say I went in to get a oil change at another place and they found a cracked sway bar ,ball joints shot and the break pads shot too Anyone who knows about cars knows that a sway bar just doesn't crack in months at all which meant it was pre existing when th

I contacted serpentini about a f-
I seen on there web site
I called on it and talk to a person and told them I did the math and to get to the payment of they would have to come down 2k on the truck,She said trust me and come they will and I said I don't want to wast my time or there's,She said come in.So I did
Got to serpentini told the sales man what I was told over the phone,He said shes not a sale person. So I was lied to just to get me here
The sale man said let me see if I can make you happy and get you that payment you want
I said fine i'll go look at the truck. And as I was gone they came to my wife and said Bill said give them to the car I was trading in
I never told them that
I think they should stand behind what they tell people

We made a deal to purchase a truck We had a signed purchase agreement While we sat there, another customer came in Because he offered more for the truck than we had agreed to pay, they sold it to the other customer!!

I was ready to purchase a ZCorvette from this group Everything was in line I paid $for an independent vehicle inspection on this car After inspection I was waiting for the Finance Manager (Kevin ***) to send me an email clarifying a return on a deposit toward the down payment of the car He initially told me they would refund my deposit if there was anything wrong with the car I told him I need that in writing, he said I'll have to call you back Then when I called later he said it would only cover specific things (listed below this text) I received the email hours later I then called to place a deposit to hold the car so I could purchase it in the morning They told me someone else was test driving it, and they cannot allow me to place a deposit on the vehicle or buy it until that person makes their decision
We already agreed on a price pending my inspection of $37, The vehicle sold to the new person I was very clear that I was going to

I'm been trying to cancel a service contract they sold meI was told by the mechanic company I need to contact to dealer who sold it to meI have now left three messages over the past days and no one in finance will contact meThere is no other way to get this contract canceled

I purchased a truck from Serpentini in Tallmadge less than months agoWithin a month, the air conditioner went out in itInitially I called and was told to bring it up anytime, without an appointment and they'd take care of it I followed up with a call before doing that and was told a completely different story I was told that I would need an appointment and it would be a few days The service man that I spoke with was extremely rude at the time and mocked me for having a "truck without air"
I was then told that it wouldn't be covered at all I took it up to Tallmadge and waited for an hour They told me that it was on the maching when actually, they hadn't even looked at it yet After checking it, they said that they wouldn't stand behind it and that it would be to get it fixed I went out to the showroom and I realize it was a ridiculous act on my part but I shouted to the showroom to "GO ELSEWHERE" because they don't stand behind their vehicles The servic

I called and made a appointment to possibly purchase a vehicle on there lotI'm from cleveland so they called me the day before on the phone to verify my appointment the next day, I said yes and ask was the car I'm interested in is still available because I'm coming from clevelandThe salesman on the phone said yes and soon as I arrive they tell me the car was soldI came all the way out there and I couldn't even get a simple phone call to say the car was sold, they just wanted me to come still so they can try to get me something else wrongTheir customer service is horrible and the communication among co workers is also
