The builder [redacted] stopped last week and he offered to trim one of the study door. I told him that I'll need to consult with my father-in-law since he knows about construction. [redacted] agreed with me. About the light fixture, [redacted] agreed to move the light fixture, he provided different options. 1. move and drywall or 2. use a medallion or 3. get a bigger light fixture. I agree with [redacted] about using a medallion however my husband disagree. My husband suggested to have it centered and drywall. Also, I will write a follow-up review with about this company.

This customer signed a buyer walk through and acceptance form with our company as well as a contract agreeing to our warranties.   They made a warranty request at 30 day per our policy and we addressed the items per our warranty guidelines.   A couple of the items were not items...

that we feel are covered by our warranty.   As a reputable builder we take the added step of purchasing a 3rd party warranty from an independent company so when disputes arise the customer has another avenue to have their warranty items addressed.    I let [redacted] know this and directed them to the company if they would like to have the 3rd party inspect the issues.   Yesterday [redacted] stopped by their house and offered to move the light a couple of inches if they agree to not requiring a sheetrock patch from the current location.   Again we inspected the study doors and find them to be installed correctly but offered to cut the doors to make them happy, but again this will void any future claims on these items.Please call our office at [redacted] to discuss this further with [redacted].
