I am rejecting this response because:
I was a regular customer of the business.   I am familiar with the type of merchandise that they accept at the business and have purchased several items in the store. (clothes, coats, shoes and purses)  After I made the appointment an employee of the company called me to tell me to view the company website that listed the type of merchandise that I could consign at the store. I carefully selected items from my closet that I knew would sell. I was told that they are at the end of accepting summer items and starting to select winter items from consigners, but bring everything. I brought some items that were sleeveless, but could be worn in the during the Fall with a sweater. I had no intention of selecting items from my closet, paying to have them dry cleaned and placing them on hangers if I thought that they would not sell. The items that I selected were name brand items - [redacted], [redacted], etc. They were not in poor condition. They were items that I was currently wearing for work in an office or never worn with tags. I also brought a box of shoes that were never worn. If the items were not selected by Carousal Consignment, I planned to list them on eBay or another online consignment store. I never intended to give the items away to the Salvation Army or Goodwill. I would have either kept the items that were considered Spring/Summer and sold them next year. I left the back of the store and asked a person in the front of the store if she would call me.  Not if she would call me to the back. When I left the store a person in the store could have easily called the phone number that they had on record for me.. It was my cell phone number. The store kept several of my items and listed them to sell without my permission. They never called me to return to the store to sign a contract.  When I called back, the person that I talked to on the phone said that one of my items already sold.  What were they going to do with the money that they made from selling my items. I never was given the opportunity to sign a contract and had no idea that they would give away my property.    They did not tell me that they only take 20 items per appointment. I made four trips to the car. Three trips to retrieve arm fulls of clothes on hangers and one trip to retrieve the box of shoes. At no time did they stop me from bringing in my items.
