Three of the four buses may have had a positive experience. Our daughter, on the fourth bus did not. Carousel Tours, as a professional tour company was unable to account for traffic to or from New York. Carousel Tour's inability to follow their own itinerary was the reason my daughter did not have a good time. She was unable to visit the [redacted]; she is interested in history and this and the dinner were the big "draws" for her. Due to Carousel's poor planning there was no time to visit the museum. A visit to the museum was part of the itinerary Carousel planned.  None of the buses she was on had power ports available as promised by Carousel; there was a serious breakdown in communication. Principal [redacted] explained why during a face to face meeting on 6/20/16.  My daughter was left stranded on a sidewalk for about three hours; that was never listed on the itinerary. Carousel Tours failed to provided working buses on the duration of the trip and had two unplanned stops (about four hours from what we figure) to address their lack of reliable transportation. Due to a broken down bus and traffic my daughter missed her [redacted] dining experience. A small portion of cold spaghetti given to her around 9 pm on a bus(no choice allowed from a menu) is hardly the same as a sit down dinner in a famous restaurant.  Carousel Tour staff is unable to correctly interpret multiple personal phone calls and emails I made post trip. I would like a complete refund for the trip $130. I paid for a trip and itinerary; Carousel Tours failed to deliver.

The [redacted] Middle School trip to NYC encountered unexpectedly heavy traffic both on the way to and return from New York, as well as un forseen bus breakdown. Both of these occurrences are outside the control of the Carousel Student Tours Inc. Carousel arranged a replacement bus that arrived as soon...

as possible. The trip was well chaperoned and the students remained safe while they waited for the replacement bus. All of the students experienced everything on the itinerary with the possible exception of the students on the broken bus who were late for their reservation at the [redacted]. The [redacted] , while unable to accommodate the late arrivals, nevertheless, prepared "to go " meals for the students. Our understanding is that all of the students had a fine time and that it was good educational experience.
