We spoke this morning and I've scanned the documents you've asked for. Please excuse the upside down page, I scanned it again and it's the second attachment. That page has the wrong VIN the dealer put on our original sales paperwork and what was submitted to DMV. The .pdf
with multiple pages starts with the pamphlet that is the 3rd party warranty. After the warranty ID cards is the contract portion of the 3rd party, that we did not sign because it was never presented. Next is the actual long yellow contract that shows the price of the warranty and another scam called "etch" for $227.00. Next is the service advisor form that describes the puncture repair to the rear tire. Being a CPO VW car it comes with a 24,mile factory VW warranty. When I asked about the warranty during the sale I was given vague answers and led to believe I was purchasing a VW factory extended warranty till 100k miles. I was never shown the contract page that I did not sign or get an explanation of what it covered. We were handed the pamphlet after everything was signed and we were leaving I felt totally scammed. I just noticed today that the warranty doesn't even cover the powertrain. Yesterday I went to my local DMV in Sonora, CA. I was told the VIN of the car we have in our possession is not in our name and was informed to contact the CA DMV investigations unit immediately. I did not confirm yesterday but at the beginning of February the wrong VIN was still in our name. I feel I've given the dealership and VW corporate (who I contacted in early February) enough time and neither has resolved anything

We are sorry for the inconvenience but unfortunately we do not have any documentation to support the requestThe due bill we currently have on file that was signed by both the dealership and the customer states that the vehicle was sold as is and nothing else was promisedWe will be glad to get an
estimate on the windshield repair and we would agree to reimburse half the cost if reasonableThank you!

Response:We were approached by the service department to give this customer a call because she had a high bill with service and the car wasn't running properly and it was too much for them to fix it for what the vehicle was worth. When we spoke to the customer we gave them the option of trading it...

in to purchase another car and we would pay their remaining service bill with what they owe if they wanted to get into another vehicle, after using the trade in amount as well. The vehicle was under his girlfriend's name and she purchased the vehicle under her name only. She actually came in yesterday to resign the contract on the new vehicle because we had to submit it to a different bank. I've spoken to the girlfriend several times and she has texted me regarding coming in to resign. She never mentioned anything about a complaint, or we would have apologized and tried to fix any issues that arised. The $6,000 that was given to us by check was for the down payment on the new vehicle she purchased.Sent on: 2/24/2017 6:35:26 PMSent by: 71.6.5.90

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is NOT quite satisfactory to me.
I would like to agree to dispute ONLY if I am be reimbursed for my loss of pay and gas expenses for traveling to the DMV as well which may be which does not include the fees I paid to be given new plates in which I am willing to waive.  I have called the [redacted] dealer parts dept. and was informed the windshield replacement would be $958.97 in which Im willing to accept $500 which includes taxes

I have spoken to Ms. [redacted] this morning and we have come to an agreement that Tracy Volkswagen will take care of the broken windshield and she will take care of all her other concerns I.E. lost time at work, DMV charges for new Lic. plates and gas money. We agreed that even though her windshield wasn't broken when she purchased her vehicle, as she explained it had a very small rock chip at the time of purchase, After awhile it has become a large crack, So in good faith we have agreed to replace her windshield and I have already set that up it will be replaced at her place of business tomorrow while she is at work, I believe that if you contact her you will see that she is satisfied and this complaint can be closed. If I can be of any further assistance or if I can help in any way please don't hesitate to reach out to me.Thank you for all you're assistance,[redacted]Director of Fixed OperationsGill Auto Group
