Dear Friends,
I have read your reviews and I am stunned at what I am reading.
I'm not sure what happened to Carpe Diem after February of last year. However, our organization used this limo service to pick up/drop off dignitaries, senators and very high profile guests at our conference in San Diego last year, and Carpe Diem was the most professional and accommodating service that I have ever encountered.
Prior to booking the service, they made sure of the passenger names, how many, what flight they were arriving/departing; cell phone numbers to contact the passengers. And, 7 to 10 days prior to our function (Feb 13-15th 2013), we received written confirmation with reservation confirmation number, pick-up date; time, service type (from airport); passenger names; phone number; vehicle type; primary/billing contact; payment method; trip routing information; charges and fees with reservation totals.
Additionally, day by day, we received up to the minute emails with reservation confirmations, driver's names, ETA, etc.
If they have gone out of business, I am very sorry to hear that, because the service that was provided to my organization was A+.
If they decide to start their business up again, I definitely will feel very secure in having them deliver our precious cargo.
Sorry guys.... again for your bad experience but mine was superb. Thank you Carpe Diem for your outstanding service, and I look forward to booking our guest with you in the future.

Review: Company was contracted to provide towncar service from the hotel Palomar to the Sleep Train Ampitheater. Leaving on Sat the 28th at 6pm returning at 11pm. Confirmation # [redacted] provided by email from Carpe Diem Limo. American Express card given as payment method.

Driver and car never showed up...phone calls were never returned...hotel called the Limo company never returned calls and messages could not be left...Magic Jack phone numbersDesired Settlement: Leaving us to drive ourselves to the concert...the minimum I want is an apology, but more so I would like to speak to the owner.

Review: I was asked to text my credit card information to the supervisor on the day of the trip. I did not want to text credit card information to keep everything secure. I told the supervisor that I had provided my card number at the time of booking. She said the card was only use to hold my reservation. Since I had booked so long ago, I could not remember if the company had charged a deposit of the entire amount on my card. I told the supervisor that I would call give her my card information over the phone. She agreed and I provided it. I tipped the driver $120 cash when he dropped me at the drop off location. I reviewed my monthly credit card statement and saw that they had charged tip onto my card. In the booking agreement, it did not specify that tip would automoaticlaly be charged to my card (I have a copy of it). I called 7/10/13 and spoke with someone. They said they would verify with the driver that cash was received and then credit my card back the amount. I did not hear back so I sent an email on 7/26/13 requesting a status update. I did not hear back so I sent another email on 8/6/13. I have not heard anything back yet.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the tip amount charged onto my credit card.

I was not able to send a message through the online system because my complaint was closed. The merchant said the credit had been processed as of 8/9/13. However, I have not seen the refund processed to my credit card. Please let me know when I can expect the credit to show.

Review: On 4/4/13 I gave a Credit Card number to Carpe Diem Limousine to reserve a limo for 4/20/13. On 4/5/13, I cancelled the reservation. I was unaware that my card had actually been charged and was under the impression it was just to hold the reservation. Upon further analysis of my records I discovered that my card was charged $214.92 on 4/4/13. No service was ever provided (and a limo did NOT show up on 4/20/13, so they obviously processed my cancellation). I have emailed and left a message for Carpe Diem and no one has contacted me to resolve the situation and/or issue me a refund. Upon reading [redacted], I see that this Company has NUMEROUS open [redacted] Complaints and is notorious for NOT SHOWING UP for appointments that are scheduled and not issuing refunds.Desired Settlement: $214.92 credit to my American Express card for services NOT rendered due to cancellation.

Review: I booked a limousine to pick me up at the airport. Booking was made online, paid with debit card and card was immediately charged for $75.59. I never received a confirmation email as promised. I tried to call several times but only ever got voicemail. I left several messages and sent emails and received no reply. Nobody ever picked me up at the airport, I tried calling their dispatch and no answer. I had to pay for a taxi.Desired Settlement: I want my money back for a service never provided.

Review: Vouchers for airport transportation were purchased from Carpe Diem trough Amazon Local. I completed a request for transportation and received a confirmation number. On the date the scheduled services were to be rendered (a trip to catch an international flight) no driver showed at the scheduled time. Thirty minutes still no transportation. All attempts to contact the company were met with the message (Mail Box Full). I wrote a letter to the company at their registered address and sent a copy to the manager via email To date I have had no response. I was able to contact Amazon Local and obtained a refund of the vouchers I purchased earlier. I did incur expenses above what would I would normally wood.Desired Settlement: This company should be looked into as one which is promising services but not delivering. The fact that you can't reach anyone at the company is very suspicoious.

Review: We had purchased a Living Socials Coupon for limo services. We followed the instructions on how to book the services, and sent it via email as requested. We received a confirmation email for the the pick up and return limo services. 2 days prior to our departure, we tried to contact the company to ensure everything was still on schedule. We tried calling multiple times, sent emails, and never received a reply nor did anyone answer the phone.

We were going on a European vacation, so we were concerned about being late to the airport.

We waited as long as we could the morning of departure to see if anyone would show up, and no one ever did. We ensured that someone was at the house after we left via other transportation modes. The never showed - no call, no nothing.

On our return trip, with a different confirmation, the same thing happened. We waited, no show again. We were forced to take a taxi home, and still have heard nothing. We have tried to call the company since returning, no answer, ever.

We are currently trying to get a refund through Living Social, no decision on that as they are trying to reach the company.Desired Settlement: If living social does not refund our money, someone should be responsible. $65.00 is owed to us by someone.
