Review: The owner of the business [redacted] worked on the transmission of my 95 Mercedes Benz S320. He assured me that my transmission was fine on the car it was clean and had no problems other then a switch. He ordered the part but it was the wrong part he still tried to use it and rig it to work properly to the point of unhooking the catalytic converter to see if that would work and if it had he wanted it left that way. Thankfully that did not work so he ordered the correct part and finally put it on, after having the car for a month it is still not fixed. He expects me to pay for the work [redacted]e but the work [redacted]e hasn't resulted in anything being fixed or repairs to the car. When I called him he suggested we go for a ride so I can see how to drive the car the way it is, like I am an it and do not know how to drive an automatic transmission car. The transmission still spikes RPMs up to 6-7000 before shifting sometimes does not shift at all until you floor the gas and let off of it, which is what he was suppose to fix. I do not feel he did his job correctly and feel disrespected and that he just wants to take my money. I got a second opinion on the car and how it drives/shifts from [redacted] over at Flynn's automotive and he said he felt no difference in the shifting of the car and it was as if [redacted] had never worked on it.Desired Settlement: As of now I have not paid him yet but I do not think I should have to for doing work that resulting in no change to my vehicle when he reassured me it was a lot better then it was prior to him fixing it when it has no change at all. $554 is a lot of money to shell out when it is not fixed especially since now I have to have pay someone to fully replace the transmission and if he would have told me it needed replaced to begin with I would not have had him try to fix it.
