On 12/17/Customer came in to store to schedule a time for someone to come out to look at basement and measure for carpetAn appointment was scheduled for 12/22/at 9:AMOur estimator came out, measured and brought samplesA carpet was chosen at that timeAn email was sent to customer at
12:PM on the same dayA revised proposal was sent to her via email on 12/30/Customer replied on 1/4/(Sunday) and then came in to store on Monday 1/5/after 4:PM to sign proposalWhen we are talking with customers, we inform them it will take to weeks from the time a contract is signed to the install dayWe are closed on Sundays; therefore the customers could not have talked to anyone from our store on 1/18/On approximately 1/19/customer called to check on status of carpetWe at that time we told her the carpet was here and asked when she would like us to installShe indicated Fridays were best, we told her that the flooring could be installed this Friday 1/23/or the following Friday 1/30/She indicated that 1/23/would be greatOur installers came out on that date to installThey moved furniture that was already in the middle of the room, installed the new flooring and put the furniture back into the middle of the roomOur installers should have went the extra mile and asked both customers if they wanted there furniture back into place instead of putting it back in the middle of the roomOur installers indicated that they removed and reinstalled the doors they took offThey noticed that there were other doors already removed previous to 1/23/Our installers should have went the extra mile and asked the customers if they wanted the other doors hung back upInstallation of flooring took days, on Saturday 1/24/after installation was complete the installers indicated they took the customers over the entire job, this is when customer signed the work order indicating he was acknowledging the satisfactory completion of the work doneTo the best of our knowledge, neither customer called or emailed to say anything about the installation, or the unsatisfactory serviceOn 1/29/customer was called to check on job and to collect balance of invoiceHe indicated he was very upset with us because we did not put back the furniture and the doors did not get hung back upThe associate that spoke to him apologized and indicated that the owners had no knowledge of the dissatisfaction of service and that we would send someone out the next day to take carpet of the furniture and the other doorsHe said that he would" TALK TO *** *** AND THE RESTORATION COMPANY TO TAKE CARE OF IT"He indicated to our associate that he was losing money just by talking to her and abruptly hung up on herShe immediately called back, (customer did not answer), left message indicating we could have someone out to move furniture that day1/29/It disheartens us to know the customer felt he had to pay outsiders to finish the jobAnother associate emailed customer about the issuesNo replyCustomer called on 2/10/to pay balance and indicated how unhappy he was with us and hung up on that personWe are sending customer a refund check for $ 150.00.%
