Review: Carpeting was installed and within four months the carpeting started to break down. The color changed, it matted down, a lot of fiber was in the vacuum (we purchased a new dyson vacuum when we had the carpet installed. The seams are very noticeable and freyed. Carpet Factory came out and said there was nothing wrong with the carpet. He combed it with his fingers to bring up the fiber. Told us to have it steamed cleaned which we did and the professional cleaner said the carpet looked like old carpet. It has now been a little over a year and I went in to the business to tell them I wanted my money back as they did not want to replace it. (I do not really want to get it from this company again.) They said they would refund only $l,000.00 of it We paid $l,950. I told them no I wanted the whole amount and the owner of the company went ballistic. Very rude. I told him I would see him in court. Also we asked several times for a warranty and they put us off. Two different times they said it was in the mail from the manufacturer. Never received it. After the first time of coming to our house we requested another evaluation and they said they would come to our home again and did not show up.Desired Settlement: I would like my money refunded. The full amount of $1,900.00

Company said that they can rip it out the carpet and the padding and refund him $1665. The company said they can take it out or the consumer can have someone else take it out.
