08/11/14On 12/18/13 [redacted] and her husband ordered flooring with our company, and as we started the job with their foyer marble we ran short two cartons of the tile so we ordered the additional material as the material arrived it was slightly different dye lot, and they were not happy...

with the shade being off so by their request we removed the whole floor and all the underlayment, and we started to redo the floor as we ordered the new batch we made shore to order a few extra boxes so they can sort throw the material, when our guys went back to do the marble installation [redacted] send the material back which at that point we offered them to get their own material and we will give them credit for the material and they selected to bring their own material and still it was the same issue with them and after we started the work we had to stop for some times so they can get some more, and as for the fire place we provided 3cmm thick marble for their fire place and what they had installed before was a 2cmm thick, so we had to remove a surrounding trims and after the installation we asked them if we could put a similar trim but they wanted us to use stain wood trims and also we replace them again two different times, and as for the hard wood we did deliver the same exact material as they choose and also we did everything within manufacture requirement, and they were very happy with the workman ship and products. But about two and half months ago we called them to collect the remaining balance they were not answering us or taking our calls, finally we receive an email from them that they have some issue with hard wood flooring and we vent to their house within three days to inspect the job and at the time of inspection we asked [redacted] if their humidity fire works and he said that their humidity fire is not connected and we told them that with the amount of hard wood they have in their house and as wide as their floor is they need to provide an stabile environment for the floor, so the floor does not go through as much contraction and expansion, and we also left them with the instruction and guideline that explain why the floor is having gap in between boards and what needs to be down to correct the issue we also told him once they get their humidity fire connected their issue will be solved.A few weeks later we tried to contact [redacted] and left them two massages, but we did not hear back from them and the reason we did not contact [redacted] because she told us that she did not want to involved any more. P.S. We did everything possible to please **. & [redacted]They still have $2,433.00 remaining unpaid balance.Thank You!Manigment

Review: We contracted with the carpet and floor outlet to redo the floors in our home and redo our fireplace. When comparing products, we brought in samples and we were assured that they could do the job for a cheaper price than competitors for the same price. Since we had used them before satisfactorily we agreed. However, in lieu of the Bruce hardwood flooring he promised we got a product he ordered from China. The top of the line [redacted] tile was a cheap tile that crumbled in your hand and the installer has such difficulty cutting it without the pieces crumbling that he ran out of tile. The owner from the Carpet and Floor outlet brought in new tile and even though it was from a different lot and did not match the rest that was installed he started installing it. We refused the product and told him the floor was to be one color with quality tile. The removed the tile ordered the same cheap tile with considerable filler, chips and damage to the tile before it was even installed. We agreed that I would purchase the tile myself, take it off the price and his installer would reinstall the tile. Next the Fireplace ended up being four different colors. He agreed to install the fireplace in surround in one piece of marble. This ended up being three pieces. The three top surround pieces did not match the bottom piece and were of a different thickness than the pieces that were being replaced so they installed molding around the base piece between the hardwood floor and the base of the fireplace and molding between the surround portions and the mantel. We agreed to let them install the oak molding used on between the floor and the base to frame the mantel. They used a different molding a different color. Now our fireplace is four different colors. The cheap hardwood flooring they ordered form China is gapping all over the place. When we informed them they came and inspected it and said that they needed to have the manufacturer come look at it. To pay them the balance and then they would look at it. They also refused to take the total amount we paid for the [redacted] tile off the balance. At this stage we have hardwood floors gapping all over the place (you can insert quarters and nickels side by side in the gaps.Desired Settlement: Our Hardwood floors should be replaced with the original product promised ([redacted] floors).

The amount of money we paid for the [redacted] needs to be deducted from our invoice.
