First, his company signed a work order and was signed by Mr [redacted] stating that he and/or his company would be responsible for the cost of the job, which was $ He wanted carpet, pad and labor to install carpet Before we did the job, we received a deposit for half of the invoice in the amount of $ On completion of the labor, we were to be paid at that time for the remainder Our installers finished the job on 10/3/ When he said that the customer had a complaint, we set up a time for him to meet up with Mr*** Mr [redacted] never showed up We have tried repeatedly to meet with him or the owner of home but no one ever showed up to let us in to look at job We have text documentation between Mr [redacted] and Mr***, supporting what we have said We, including the owner, Mr***, of Carpet Masters Inchave tried repeatedly to get the remainder but have been ignored or acted like he never heard of usWe do not ignore customers if they have a complaint We are still willing to meet with Mr [redacted] to go look over the complaints If you need copies of the texts, we will be glad to email them to the Revdex.com

Review: Advertisement in the Penny Saver states that 3 rooms steam cleaned for $36.50 (NO HIDDEN CHARGES). I called the phone number listed and they quoted me $50.00 for 2 rooms. and about $30.00 for a recliner. When the service man arrived to clean my carpets, the service guy told me total charges would be $100.00. I told them I wanted the carpets cleaned as they were dirty. He tried to charge me a total of $175.00 for a deep cleaning which was not mentioned over the phone. He also demanded the cash upfront before any of the services were performed. After paying him in advance, he performed the service and left without notifying me that the job was done. The job was done very poorly, and because he left without saying anything, I was under the impression that he was coming back to finish the job, which he did not finish. The following day I made a phone call back to them to see if we can resolve the issue. The man was extremely unprofessional and extremely rude. I was trying to explain to him why he did not let me look over the work before he left and why he did not notify me that he was finished. He threatened to call the Santa Ana Police Department if I called back to question him on his work. I paid for a service and the service was not performed adequately. He refused to give me his name, or even a license number. I tried to be cordial yet he was just making jokes and refused to allow me to speak. After every sentence his only reply was "do not play games with me", and if I refused to have him go back out and give him extra money to finish the job, then he was going to hang up the phone. His last words were never call back this business again or else and threated to call the police department for me harassing him. Their overall service was the worst of any business I have ever encountered. He is extremely rude, unprofessional and over charges for a half done job, then demands extra money to finish it. Also, the person did not give a detailed receipt of charges.Desired Settlement: I paid cash upfront for a service that basically did not get performed. I would like to prevent this from happening to anybody else. This is not a professional company and should not be allowed to service people. The advertisement they place in the Penny Saver means nothing after they show up to your door.
