We would like the rental fee to be looked atand evaluatedWhen we moved in we were told that the upstairs apartments wereless expensive per month, when in fact as it is right now our upstairs apartmentis much higher due to a rent increaseAlso, our rent (and it appears that onlyour rent) was raised from $per month to $per month, but we were toldthat it would only be raised a small amount if we would sign another leaseWetalked about it and decided to sign another year lease, but when we were readyto, the manager said it did not matter because "everyone's rent wasincreasing anyway"Recently while talking with many of our neighbors it appearsthat our rent was the only one increasedWe would like to learn why onlyours was increased and why such a big increase and also why we now pay morethan the downstairs renters.Thank you

We at Barclay Square value our tenants and take great pride in the safety, comfort and affordability of our apartments The notice you received explains that our rent prices have increased to $since you signed your last lease Furthermore, if you chose not to sign a lease, you would have been charged an additional month to month fee of $ It appears that you misunderstood the details of the notice Since you elected to sign a lease, you are only being charged $750. Regarding the variety of rents being charged, this has to do primarily with the different times in which leases are signed Rent prices vary throughout the year depending on market dynamics Therefore a tenant who signed a lease in March might be paying a different rate than someone who signed a lease in April In addition, each apartment is unique, which also contributes to the variety in pricing.I hope my response has cleared up any confusion and that you consider Barclay Square a safe, comfortable and affordable place to live

We hired Carpet Mill Outlet to replace our kitchen, dining room, and entrance flooring with wood laminate, the living room with carpet and the office/laundry room floor with linoleum. The job was completed on the 1st and 2nd of December, 2011. The carpet was fine. The office/laundry room floor linoleum was ripped in installation, and the rip was glued--the installers never informed us about the rip. The glue quickly came apart, leaving the original rip.

We chose wood-appearing laminate in the non-carpeted rooms of the house based on research we had done and also on the recommendation of our salesperson [redacted](who is no longer an employee). We were told over and over that it would resist scratching, he had it in his home, they install it everywhere, it had a good warranty, and it really would hold up well. Within just a few weeks, it was apparent that our flooring was scratching constantly. We have no pets, no young children, we have the proper chair leg coverings, etc. We contacted Carpet Mill. After many phone calls, they finally sent their people out to inspect, and they agreed that it definitely was scratching and it should not and that they would contact the manufacturer and see what could be done. After 11 months and no further action on their part, we wrote a letter to the owner of Carpet Mill Outlet, [redacted]. He contacted us, came out to inspect and told us the laminate would be replaced, along with the vinyl. After numerous phone calls (most of which they never returned) and some trips to Carpet Mill, we finally got the install date set for April 29, 2013, 17 MONTHS after the original install. We emptied the rooms in preparation for the install. The workmen started on time, and by Wednesday the laminate area was replaced. Before leaving on Wed. the installer informed us that he was being pulled off of our job by the owner for another job. [redacted] called us and asked us to be patient, that our job would be done soon. I called him the next week and the week after asking him to please call us back and let us know what was happening. That was over two months ago and we have not heard from [redacted].

We want others to be aware of the terrible service that Carpet Mill provided us.

Dont go to this place! The owner Jim does not understand what customer service is. My husband and I bought a new home and wanted all new carpets throughout and decided to see if we can save a little with this outlet place but we were so wrong. Jim came to our home to measure our rooms and that was fine. We called him a month later to start the carpet process since we were waiting for our windows to be installed. Jim told us that he threw our measurement paper works away since he haven't heard from us (and we understood since it was a while from the time we stopped in). Then he called us a couple days later stating that he found our paper works. He stated that his wife filed it away. Which is fine. We stopped back into his store to confirm our carpet choices. He showed us different carpets and we decided on the ones we like. We have 5 bedrooms, a living room and a hallway to be completed. We specifically said we want light carpets in the two spare bedrooms and darker in the rest of the house (of course there were number codes to these colors which we confirmed with Jim). Jim kept saying "ok, ok, that’s great guys" he didn’t write anything down. We just thought he has a great memory since he was not noting anything down. Long behold, on installation day, the wrong carpets were installed in the spare bedrooms. We didn't noticed anything until we asked Jim. When this was brought to Jim's attention, he responded, "No you guys wanted darker carpets in the spare bedrooms." NO, we didn't say that. We were really straight forward with what we wanted. If you would’ve wrote down our order and not just trying to remember them, this would not have been an issue. Not only that but the installation man did not respect our home at all. While installing our carpets, he ruined all of our painted wood trims and painted walls. He also cracked one of our tiles while installing the metal piece that separates the carpet from the tiles. His tools and vacuum banged our walls and trims and it didn't seem to bother him at all. He also brought his young son to work with him (which I don't think is professional or legal). After he was finished we called Jim to let him know the issues we were having and without properly inspecting the job, he quickly took defense of his installer and advised us that his installer installed million dollar homes before and no one ever complain to him. What kind of customer service response is this? Very unprofessional. We asked if he could stop by to inspect the job and said that he would when my husband I are both home. Then he showed up unexpected and I was the only one home. I told him the issues we had with the service and he basically kept making excuses for all of them and said we were basically complaining about minor issues. He kept cutting me off while I was explaining to him with my concerns and kept saying, "I'll talk to your husband about it" He also said I can get our painter to fix all of your concerns, which was fine but I also responded, you only did two rooms and there are so many issues, how can we prevent this throughout the whole house since you are carpeting everything? His response was, "if we don't like it, we can go somewhere else." He didn't make an effort to make us feel confident that his installer would do a better job. The way he was responding was very unprofessional. He was not LISTENING to our concerns at all nor make us feel confident this would not happen with the rest of the house. He kept stating that he will talk to my husband and walked out of my front door. He basically didn't like our concerns and questions, and his way out was to tell us to go somewhere else. We asked for the carpets to be remove since it was not the right color and we will not be paying until the right color was installed. He responded he will not be changing the carpets and that we can keep the carpets and hung up the phone. Now we have to haul this carpet out ourselves because it's not the right color and get it reinstall. I don't know anyone who has a business and can treat their customers like this? What a horrible experience!!!! Dont go there! It’s not worth it, not even the price. And please have your orders written down to prevent any mix ups. :(

Every time I've ever been in here I have had nothing but prompt service and NICE people! Their prices have been unbeatable and they went above and beyond every time we've purchased from them to ensure our satisfaction. Highly recommended!

Review: Pierce flooring sub contracted a young man from Three Forks to lay laminate flooring in our house. The young man and his co worker laid the floor over an area that was not level. The next day all the boards popped up on that spot. When Pierce called to see how I liked my floor, I told them what was happening and I also told them I didn't want them to send those kids back out there because I questioned those kids before they left about the problem. They didn't go back and tell Pierce what had happened. And those kids took 3 extra boxes of laminate flooring that I had paid for back with them. It took Pierce 2-1/2 months to try get the problem fixed and it's still not right. I asked them for my money back and they wouldn't refund it saying if they gave the money back they would have to pull up the whole floor and take it with them knowing they would just throw it away, because they can't sell used laminate flooring to another person. I wanted the money back so I could hire someone that knows how to install the laminate flooring. Pierce laid the blame on us for the uneven floor which we had no control over. Our home is a manufactured home and when they put it together the sides weren't even, so the crew bolted both sides together and covered one half with carpet, the other half with linoleum. We didn't know it was uneven until we bought the laminate flooring. I have never dealt with any kind of company that laid the blame on the owners. They made us hire someone else, which we did, to come in and take out the subfloor and make it even between the halves. Because after all their repairmen don't know how to do that and they don't go under the homes to find out what's wrong because its the owners fault for not knowing what was wrong. I don't want Pierce Flooring or any of their subcontractors back in my house. They don't stand behind their work.Desired Settlement: I want a refund on my money and keep the floor, so we can hire someone else to come in and lay the floor the right way. I have talked to several contractors that lay this down and they have all agreed that Pierce took the cheap way out and the flooring won't last. We already have other boards popping up and I'm sure, this isn't going to be the last of it. I will never recommend that anyone have Pierce Flooring install anything in their homes, as they don't know how to fix any problems. Not all of us are rich and famous and can live in beautiful, custom homes that have straight and even floors.
