I have had an unsatisfactory experience with this company My sister and I recently moved into a home whose previous owners were an elderly coupleMy sister and I noticed a circular-shaped stain on the carpet in the master bedroom, near the entrance to the en suite bathroom, about a foot in diameter It gave off an odor like human urine, which was extremely noticeable during the monsoon seasonMy other sister, who had actually purchased the house, and had used Carpet Police before at her own residence, called them to help with this situationThe first employee came out and said it was definitely human urine, and he soaked the carpet and extracted the water and wasteHe applied an enzyme, and said to call him back if it didn't work completelyThe carpet dried, but we could still smell urine, and in fact, the stain looked even bigger, and a larger area of the carpet smelledSo my sister called the company and asked them to come bacl outThis time, they shined a black light(?) which showed the streaks of urine still left in the carpet(Streaks which I can only guess may have been created by the first employee's raking of the carpet after he cleaned it? The urine did not start out as streaksit was a puddle.) Anyway, they sprayed more enzymes down, and we were hopeful that this would take care of the problemWell, it didn'tOur next option was to cut out the piece of carpet and pad, about 3' by 3', and replace it with carpet we had in our storage roomThis was a remnant of the new carpet which had been installed in the house by the previous ownersMy sister once again called this company and asked for their help with replacing this small area of pad and carpetThis work was done days ago, on a Friday afternoonI was shocked when I saw their completed workThe carpet was not cut in a straight line, the edges do not line up straightin fact, they overlap and don't lay flat at all the carpet edge isn't turned under like all of the other carpet edges in our houseMy bathroom tile floor was left dirty (black work boot prints), and the padding is inadequate and sloppily placedThe work looks like it was done by an amateur, not a professional carpet installerI have taken photos of the carpet and the tile floor and the pad (the carpet doesn't even stay attached to the floor, so it was easy to see the pad!) My sister waited for the workers to arrive (an hour and a half late, after they told her they would be here early) and who paid for all of this work has told me to try to resolve this problem because she is through with this whole situationShe paid over $for this work and honestly, it is completely unacceptable We want the work re-done, at no additional cost, by someone in the company who knows what he is doing and has the proper tools to do itI have emailed the company and asked for the owner's contact information so I can speak with him about this problem and show him the photosFor now, I will wait to file a complaintI am hoping that the owner will take responsiblity for this shoddy work and stand by his guaranteeWe were completely reasonable with our expectations regarding the urine removal and we paid for the cleaning service even though it didn't workNow we have paid for the carpet replacement and it is hideousand that is not acceptable

My niece had a little accident on our bed mattressThe Carpet Police cleaned it up quite nicelyThey actually cleaned the mattress at their shopWhen it was returned the staining came out and there was no left over smellThank goodness! I can now return to a comfortable nights sleep on my clean mattress :)

Absolutely! Horrible service! I asked the guys when they first came in to stay to inches away from my furniture with their cleaning /suction tool! The guy had to be told the second time around my curio cabinet he was banging into, then he purposely banged the base of my sofa afterwards! Don't use their service! Tried to not give any stars at all!

Very professional, courteous, and dependable They did a great job and I definitely will have them come again

First, they arrived 45 minutes late. Second, they tried to increase the agreed upon fee for cleaning by $50 even though it was on the invoice/work order. The agreed upon fee was based on measurements taken by Carpet Police staff and then during the job they said the job was taking longer than expected and they had to increase the fee. We did not agree to pay the increased amount. Third, although the tile grout came out clean, our light color carpet was left with dark streaks and uneven cleaning. We had to have our carpets redone, but we did not use Carpet Police. I would not use them again. Either the water they use is dirty or their machines are not clean. Our carpet actually looked dirtier when Carpet Police cleaned.

I have had an unsatisfactory experience with this company. My sister and I recently moved into a home whose previous owners were an elderly couple. My sister and I noticed a circular-shaped stain on the carpet in the master bedroom, near the entrance to the en suite bathroom, about a foot in diameter. It gave off an odor like human urine, which was extremely noticeable during the monsoon season. My other sister, who had actually purchased the house, and had used Carpet Police before at her own residence, called them to help with this situation. The first employee came out and said it was definitely human urine, and he soaked the carpet and extracted the water and waste. He applied an enzyme, and said to call him back if it didn't work completely. The carpet dried, but we could still smell urine, and in fact, the stain looked even bigger, and a larger area of the carpet smelled. So my sister called the company and asked them to come bacl out. This time, they shined a black light(?) which showed the streaks of urine still left in the carpet. (Streaks which I can only guess may have been created by the first employee's raking of the carpet after he cleaned it? The urine did not start out as streaksit was a puddle.) Anyway, they sprayed more enzymes down, and we were hopeful that this would take care of the problem. Well, it didn't. Our next option was to cut out the piece of carpet and pad, about 3' by 3', and replace it with carpet we had in our storage room. This was a remnant of the new carpet which had been installed in the house by the previous owners. My sister once again called this company and asked for their help with replacing this small area of pad and carpet. This work was done 2 days ago, on a Friday afternoon. I was shocked when I saw their completed work. The carpet was not cut in a straight line, the edges do not line up straightin fact, they overlap and don't lay flat at all the carpet edge isn't turned under like all of the other carpet edges in our house. My bathroom tile floor was left dirty (black work boot prints), and the padding is inadequate and sloppily placed. The work looks like it was done by an amateur, not a professional carpet installer. I have taken photos of the carpet and the tile floor and the pad (the carpet doesn't even stay attached to the floor, so it was easy to see the pad!) My sister waited for the workers to arrive (an hour and a half late, after they told her they would be here early) and who paid for all of this work has told me to try to resolve this problem because she is through with this whole situation. She paid over $200 for this work and honestly, it is completely unacceptable. We want the work re-done, at no additional cost, by someone in the company who knows what he is doing and has the proper tools to do it. I have emailed the company and asked for the owner's contact information so I can speak with him about this problem and show him the photos. For now, I will wait to file a complaint. I am hoping that the owner will take responsiblity for this shoddy work and stand by his guarantee. We were completely reasonable with our expectations regarding the urine removal and we paid for the cleaning service even though it didn't work. Now we have paid for the carpet replacement and it is hideousand that is not acceptable.
