Dear [redacted]:
This letter is in regards to a complaint submitted on 7/2/2014 at 12:03 PM with the ID of 10115218.
The purpose of this letter is to confirm that [redacted] is 100% satisfied with the job. We received the letter yesterday, afterwards which we contacted [redacted] to...

confirm that he was happy with the most recent work we did within his home. [redacted] is a long-term customer of ours, whom we have done previous work for and look forward to doing future work for. It was unfortunate that a few communication issues occurred during our last project between [redacted] and the company. However, they were cleared up and settled, which allowed us to finish the job for [redacted]—as well as finish the job to his satisfaction. As I just mentioned earlier in this letter, he confirmed with us on the phone again yesterday that we was happy with the work we did for him.
As a successful business that has been in the industry for over three decades, we realize that every business will encounter problems. We see any obstacles, such as the one we had with [redacted], as opportunities to improve our business, to improve customer relationships, and to and work even harder at resolving matters in smooth and timely manner.
Although we are not sure as to why we received notification of [redacted]’s letter far after it was written to the Revdex.com, we wanted to take immediate action in order to let you know that [redacted] is satisfied with the work we did for him. Everything is complete and paid for and both parties are happy with the final outcome.
Thank you for your time.

Review: I entered into a contract with Carpet Queen & Floors on 4/to remodel three bathrooms at my residence which came to a total of $32,I also entered into another contract on 4/to purchase a storm door and entry door with installation for $I provided a down payment of $10,for the bathrooms and $for the doors and requested for work to begin 5/I was informed that provided the time given to get materials, all work should be done within a month by the sales associate (Tony) since they have a month to prepare on the same day I entered into the bathrooms contractOn 5/19, workers were at my home doing the job as required and continued to work, even though there were some delays due to not having enough material and the right materialBecause the project manager/supervisor was misinformed, I provided another payment, which I should have not provided at the time, of $14,000, bringing the total to $24,I paid towards the remodeling jobsI was happy with the work that was going onThe workers were moving at good pace and fixed everything that I felt needed to correctedI have expressed to the manager (Steve) that the guys were moving at a good pace and ensure they bring material to the house so they could finish what they were doing, even though I felt as if I bothered him by his reactionsThe problem began on 6/No one showed up at my residence and did not show up for the rest of the weekI did not do anything until later that weekOn 6/13, I complained to Steve that this was unprofessional and I felt that the work was abandonOn 6/16, two different workers arrived at my residence in the morning along with the project manager/supervisorThey began work, but then, the project manager/supervisor pulled one of the workers off the job to get supplies and did not return until late that afternoonOne worker stayed to perform what he could do by himselfThe next day, one of the same workers from the previous day returned to perform some more work but had to leave around noonHe stated he was sorry but he has to return to another job and does not know when he will be back at my residenceSince that time, there has not been no work performed at my residenceI have waited, at times, all day with no one arriving at my houseThe one time someone showed up, if they showed up, it is late in the afternoon
Both Steve and Tony has requested that I leave a key in a lock box provided for me so that the workers can enter my homeI did in the beginning, but since 6/13, I no longer leave it in there because I do not know when or who is arriving at my residenceThey are not showing up in the mornings when I am there, which is every morning waiting, sometimes, all day and no one showing upI am not going to let someone I do not know enter into my house at anytime they feel it is necessary while I am not thereThis could easily be solved if they showed up in the mornings since it is not the original persons who began work at my residence
As for the unfinished work, there is a list:
Basement bathroom: Needs small touch up paint and mirror installed, which continues to be delayed
Mater bathroom: Repair/touchup paint on walls, border on the base of the walls, mirrors installed, border on the vanity
The vanity, somehow or another, was damagedI identified that with the project managerHe said he could fix it.....I very much doubt it
Also, they provided the wrong vanity lamps that does not match the other two bathrooms, which they just want me to accept
Toilet does not operate correctly, keeps draining and filling up wasting water
Hallway/Guest bathroom: Has not started (I refused to allow any more work to be performed or present another payment until the other two bathrooms are completely finished which I have addressed)
The original first two workers had to cut holes in a bedroom to install shutoff valves in case of a leak for the mater bathroomI am happy they did that, but now the problem is repairing the wall and matching the paint that is already thereI doubt if they could match the paint
The storm door was delivered to my residence, but the entry door has not yet arrivedI received a voice mail on my cell that that door just arrivedNot installed
At this point, I am almost reluctant to have anybody representing this company to come back to my residence since I have been abandon and pushed to the back of the priority list since all the workers are working at other residencesWhen I addressed any issues, I am in faultI'm the bad guyI have yet to raised my voice towards anyone at this company in angerThey have breached their own agreement when they could not provide services because they do not have enough workers to perform the jobsI have material in my basement, living room, and outside which is preventing me to clean and start other projects at my residence.Desired Settlement: If there was a problem beginning on 6/when workers stopped showing up, it should have been explained to me which I repeatedly requested Steve to talk to me and we could work on it together without having any expectancy for reduction of the balance payment
If work cannot be performed daily beginning in the mornings immediately, then I request partial refund of what I provided since I paid more than required and work was left unfinished leaving me to find another contractor to repair / finish the job and start the last bathroom
There needs to be a deduction in the full amount balance since Carpet Queen & Floors delayed the work and passed the time that I was informed that all work would be completed
Why it takes more than a month to have a door(s) delivered and installed? No longer interested in having that performed since it is taking more than a month to deliver and installThey can take the storm door back that was left in my home back and just refund the deposit
If the vanity cannot be fixed properly, which the by the project manager/supervisor it can, I will not be paying the full price of that item unless it is replaced
All of this could have been avoided if things were explained rightfully to be meBut that time has passed and I am no longer interested in deals with no shows, late day arrivals, excuses in orders and no work performed at my residence
