I hired them to remove a stain from my carpet and they ruined the carpet.
I have new carpet in our master closet. I hired this company to remove a stain because I was worried I would damage the carpet. They came to remove the stain and scrubbed the carpet so much they damaged the area around the stain and it now looks worse than it did before with just the stain. When I contacted the company I was told they weren't responsible for the damage. That all they could do was try to remove the stain. Had I know they were going to clean the carpet incorrectly I would have never hired them to do the job. They should not have scrubbed the carpet like they did.
I would like them to pay for carpet replacement.
We have worked for *** for 5 years and have been out several times to take care of spots other companies consider as permanent, spots that do not respond to a regular carpet cleaning. Often times making a second trip out because of difficult stains.
She has been notified on every occasion (this occasion was no exception) of our company policy and is aware when we clean these types of stains there is no guarantee the spot will come out or there will not be any adverse reactions as a result of attempting to take out a difficult stain, in this case lip gloss with a red dye.
If this type of stain is not able to be removed the next step would be hiring a company to repair the area.
But this is the customers responsibility.
It is wrong to assume that a stain she does not want to try to remove because she may cause damage by attempting removal would be our companies responsibility if complete success is not accomplished.
Again we offer no guarantees and it is ***'s full responsibility for causing the stain.
We attempted and did our very best to help her with her misfortune.
After her contacting us letting us know she was not happy with the results,
I then reminded her of our company policy but assured her I would take a look at it to see if there was any other steps we could take.
The conversation escalated ending with her telling us not to come back out and then told me she would be posting bad reviews anywhere on line that she could and hung up on me.
We did not charge *** for our time and yet she still gave us no opportunity to be of help in resolving the problem.
