2/1/Telephone response obtained from the company as follows: Telephone response obtained from the company as follows: The company stated the line where "carpet pad" is on the invoice, it means "carpet pad installation" (an abbreviation was used for the word "installation").The company stated that the carpet special included a standard pad if any other pad was desired- more money would need to be paid.The company stated when he was on the phone with the consumer talking about the issue with the pad, it was then that he told the consumer to tell the worker to stop and the company would have the # pad sent, he stated she refused just wanted them gone.Revdex.com did state to company that consumer is offering to pay $of the $that is dueThe company stated absolutely not, she needs to pay her bill

2/1/Telephone response obtained from the consumer as follows: The consumer stated she gave the company the payment of $when she initially met with company because they had done work for them before and she felt comfortable.The consumer stated it was when she got home she realized the carpet written up was not the correct carpet, she went in the store and was told the carpet she chose was not the same and the new choice is more expensiveThe consumer stated she was told that the owner would call her to discuss, the owner did not call her until the day of the installation and she was told the cost for the upgrade in carpet was $166.00.The consumer stated they agreed to split the cost of the more expensive carpet due to the mistake being the fault of the company. The consumer stated the owner was very vulgar. The consumer stated at no point did she refuse to pay the additional $83.00. The consumer stated she noticed that # padding was being used and not # as she orderedThe consumer stated at no time was she told that the # padding could be delivered and installed at no cost, she stated she was told there would be an additional cost of $to change to the #padding. The consumer stated at that point she told them to finish and leaveThe consumer stated due to the discrepancy with the carpet and padding, plus the damage done to the wall, she chose to stop pay of the first check of $written to the company. The consumer stated she is willing to pay the company $The consumer stated this is the amount she was originally quoted $minus $for the additional carpet charge, minus $for the padding and minus $which is what it cost her to have the wall repaired
