Review: Carpeteria installed vinyl flooring and carpet in our house. When they were stripping the floor they cut the main waterline to the master bathroom toilet. We had to call a plumber to get it fixed. They were unable to fix it that day so we went all day without water. The estimate to fix it is $369.00. When we called the salesman who helped us, Mike Sullens, and asked that they cover the repair they stated they do not do that. Apparently they can damage whatever they feel like and not have to worry about it. So now we have not only paid over $2K for the carpet and vinyl but we have an unexpected plumbing bill. If a company destroys something, they should have to fix it. Would like to be reimbursed for the plumbing bill.Desired Settlement: Refund for the repair of plumbing in the amount of $369.00. They can easily take the amount off the carpet and vinyl installation. They broke it, they should fix it.

Review: Our home was flooded and we were paid to get the carpet padding replaced. We contacted Carpeteria in Ventura and they agreed to replace the padding. We paid the quoted amount for a full house of new padding. The padding was replaced while we were at work. When I got home I noticed a huge difference in one part of the carpet than in other places. We discovered that Carpeteria had only replaced portions of the padding and left the old padding in other places. This was a padding that was full of moisture from the flooding. I feel that they really did us a dis-service. They accepted money for a whole house full of padding and only installed part of it. The manager offered to come back out and re install the padding. This was after our furniture had already been delivered from storage. They told us that we would be responsible for moving our furniture if we wanted our padding installed correctly. I am furious at them and do not want them in our house ever again. We would not have to move our furniture again if they had done their job honestly the first time. I wonder how many other unsuspecting clients have been duped by them.Desired Settlement: Carpeteria needs to return our money so we can hire a more honest and ethical company to get our home back in order. They can come and retrieve the pieces of padding that they installed. If this is not settled I intend to go to small claims court.
