Review: I am complaining because I was quoted 3850 plus paint for 3 rooms of carpeting and 3 rooms painted no ceilings.I paid 1550 and the rooms are only primed...Nothing else has been done and [redacted]is harassing me for more money. He will not finish the job.Desired Settlement: I do not want to deal with this unsavory character who calls and shows up when he wants and constantly asking for money when he has not even started.

[redacted] has been giving Carpetorium, Inc. the run-around for payment from the beginning. Herself and her daughter, with all due respect, are constantly contradicting one another; being dishonest and changing their minds. The job is 90% completed. If [redacted] desires to finish the job, Carpetorium, Inc. needs some guarantee (certified check or credit card) of payment. Dealing with this customer has been a costly affair. We've lost over $2000 on labor, in addition to the fact that the carpet is custom cut to size. Carpetorium, Inc. has been in business for twenty years. We do not receive complaints, as we always satisfy our customers. Our staff is professional and respectful, and we guarantee all work for ten years.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: [redacted] painted the apartment in the wrong colors after having received 2/3 payment in advance and specific colors chosen and presented to him in person from my daughter for whom we are preparing the apartment.The receipt clearly states the amount was to include paint, he added supplies to the bill and after painting the wrong colors wanted to charge us for the replacement paint in the correct colors.

The kitchen cabinets, closets and window sills have yet to be painted. I warned him he would not receive another penny until this was done. He charged me the astronomical rate of $2500 plus paint to paint 3 rooms, no ceilings and received $1550 of that without finishing the project. I am canceling the order for carpeting because he is untrust worthy and a bully.

He is shouting at us in front of my grandchildren so I think we just need to sue him and hire another contractor to correct this disaster.
