Review: Purchased a control arm #L2[redacted]TRW for $113.86 plus $10.34 tax at 10:09 AM on 3/8/14. After it was installed, the car was unable to get a proper alignment due to it being shorter than OEM and it also made a clunking noise which is an indicator of a worn or defective part. I attempted to return the product with the original receipt on 3/13/14 at around noon. Spoke with store manager Rigo. He refused to return the defective merchandise and said, "unfortunately we are not in the business of lending out parts for trial and error." I'm not using Carquest as a "trial and error" parts store. I needed a proper working part that they were not able to provide. If the part is a brand not normally carried by the CARQUEST Auto Parts store honoring the guarantee, the part will be replaced with a comparable brand carried by that store.All products sold by CARQUEST Auto Parts are subject to the following:The manufacturer's warranty, if any, constitutes the only warranty with respect to the sale of all goods.
