Review: I recently dined at Carrabba's Italian Grill in [redacted]. When the check came, I gave my credit card to my server; however, when she brought the black book back with the receipt in it for me to sign. My credit card was not returned. The server swore she brought the credit card back and the manager even got involved. After searching the booth where we sat, the kitchen, and the checkout register the credit card was never found. The manager, [redacted] stated that her staff are all very trustworthy and that the credit card would likely show up at the end of the night. She assured me she would give me a call to provide an update. At 8:50pm, I left the restaurant went home and called my credit card company to inform them of the incident. My credit card company called me an hour later and reported that over almost $1000 in fraudulent transactions had been charged on my credit card. The first one occurred at 8:47pm at the [redacted] across the street from the restaurant. I called the restaurant back to inform them of this incident and to request a credit back to my account for my bill. The manager informed me that she was not authorized to credit my account and that she would discuss this situation with the store owner. Several weeks have passed, and I have not heard from the restaurant AT ALL. I didn't even receive the call the manager promised to make nor a call from the owner. Not even an apology. I filed a police report with the local authorities and my bank in investigating the charges. I am very disappointed with how this situation was handled. The credit card was stolen while it was in the possession of the restaurant and no further action was taken. This is a testament to how they value their customers.Desired Settlement: For starters,I believe a police report should be filed with the local authorities since the crime occurred while the credit card was in their possession. I would also like a full refund for the dinner I purchased, a written apology from the restaurant, and anything else they feel is appropriate to make this situation right.
