We thank the Revdex.com for this opportunity to provide some additional information and to clear up any misunderstandingsWe are disheartened to learn that the customer’s parents felt the need to write to the Revdex.com while we were in the midst of resolving the issue The good news is that the vendor has agreed to issue a refund for the original reservation and for the cost for the cab ridesThe customer should see the credit on her credit card within a few days and a check will be sent to the address provided shortly At this juncture, we would like to use this platform to further explain as it seems our request (not demand) for the telephone log was misconstruedThe request for proof was made to convince the vendor that the customer made every attempt to pick up the vehicle as the vendor’s records showed that the customer did not go the facility which as it turns out, they did not In addition, the statement, “Carrentals.com now says they never canceled the car and claims we just did not pick it up” was also misconstruedWe stated that we did not cancel the reservation as proof the vehicle should have been available when they arrivedThe facility stated the customer did not arrive which as it turns out was their assessment before the requested telephone log We are glad we were able to obtain the requested refunds for the customerAdvantage has asked us to apologize for this misstep on their part and have initiated an investigation to ensure this does not occur again We consider this matter resolved
