Review: I came to a deal agreement with this dealer on a vehicle after seeing it on [redacted]. We talked both by email and on the phones several times and finally they made me an offer which I accepted. I have. To drive my vehicle about 450 miles to get the place so we could trade as he had offered. Once I arrived they began trying to find ways to change the deal which I have in writing from them. They started complaining about the paint on my 2002 truck even though it has over 100 thousand miles on it and is over 11 years old. They said they were experts and knew what to look for. Then one of them started sanding the paint on my truck without asking me in any way if her could do that. When I complained and told they now they would need to do my entire truck to make it match what he had just one they backed out of our contract and said they did not want to do the sale. The. The younger one said he was raising the price he had already offered to me. I explained to them I had just driven almost 500 miles and would need lot stay in a hotel that night all of which was costing me around $300.00 but they just said they did not care and there was no deal. I feel these people who are a father and son only wanted to find a way to have me bring my truck to them so they could look at it and they never really intended to complete they offer they had send to me. The offer was for my truck and $600.00 cash in exchange for the vehicle they were selling. Once I told them they would need to finish what they had started as far as sanding the paint on my truck they raised it to $2500.00 cash and my truck for the vehicle. I feel these people at the very lease need to pay to have my entire truck sanded and reprinted as they said it would need since they damaged it. I would also settle for the original offer they made to me but at this point they would need to arrange and pay for the transportation of both vehicles since I already have over $350.00 in this including fuel, hotel and food. Thank youDesired Settlement: I want this dealer to either pay to have my truck finished since they started sanding on it or complete the deal that they offered to me in the first place. If they decide to complete the original sale I want them to arrange and pay to have my truck shipped to them and to have the vehicle they were selling me shipped to me.

I am rejecting this response because:The business is lying about most everything. First of all the knew about the [redacted] report LNG before we ended up with a deal. Second the front bumper was never painted as well as the rest of the truck has never been painted. Third I can send all emails between us and I never once said there was no rust. The only places that showed any signs of rust were two small places that were bubbled in the paint where rust was starting. Fourth yes the truck was dirty because is was storing on our way to his place. My main compliant is that this place sanded a place on the hood of my truck without ever asking me. They damaged the paint and it can not be fixed by sand down the rest of the truck and repainting it. The man at this business told me this himself after sanding the hood of my truck. I told them that now they would need to do it all to make it match up with the area he sanded and he just laughed and said the whole thing would now need to be sanded down and panted.they damaged my truck and lowered the value of it. I bought this truck new and I have taken really good care or if so it is in far better condition than an average truck of its age. I have estimates to repair the damage he did to it of over $3,700.00 and I feel this business should at the very least pay that. They did this damage and I feel they were expecting me to just pay them the higher amount in cash they asked me for since I had driven almost 500 miles to come to them. Ipad for fuel, food and hotel because this business tricked me into bring my truck to them by offering to trade me for the vehicle they had for sale. They offered to do this for my truck and $600 cash after many emails. I sent them several pictures showing the entire truck but once they damaged it they said they now wanted me to pay them $2,500.00 and my truck. I wonder how many other people have fell for this type of sale once they arrived with a trade to this business. They simply can not be trusted and I feel they owe for the damage done to my truck at the very least. Thank you, [redacted]
