First they lost my suit jacket and gave me someone else's, then they refused to pay for it and called me a liar.When I received my clothes back, my suit jacket was missing, replaced with someone else's jacket (two sizes smaller). I reported it and returned the jacket I was given to them. They told me they would try and find it and reimburse me if it wasn't found. I gave them over a week and then they gave up so when I asked for the value of the suit, they laughed and said that they would only pay me $97 dollars. When I told them that was unacceptable, they offered to go to the retailer to verify the cost, which I complied with. Then they called me threateningly, to tell me that I was lying about the suit's brand and that they never wanted to hear from me again. I have never purchased a suit from any other retailer, and their method of handling it by calling me a liar is deplorable.Desired SettlementI want the value of my suit refundedBusiness Response The purpose of this message is to respond to complaint number [redacted] filed by [redacted]. On Saturday June 27th Carriage House Cleaners purchased Mr.[redacted] a brand new [redacted] suit for the price of $254.00 that is identical to the one he claimed we lost. After being in business for well over 50 years this is our first complaint from a first time customer and we hope it is our last.
