Review: I paid Andy at Carriage House Collision $300 to paint a brand new front bumper that I purchased from Mitsubishi for my Black 2001 Montero Sport. Within the first week the paint job began stripping. I went back to Carriage House and they patched it. I have been back to the vendor six times asking him to redo the job because it should not be stripping. The owner says he is not doing it again. I told him I had two other places look at it and they told me if the process is not done properly then it will strip and that I should go back to Carriage House because they should fix the job. I have been given $500 fir one of the other vendors to redo it as I am told it costs more now that they have to strip all the paint off.Desired Settlement: Carriage House Collision did not do a good job in painting my front bumper. It constantly strips and looks insightful from the patching. I would like for them to redo the job or pay $500 for the other vendor to fix their poor repair job.

We have painted a bumper cover purchased by [redacted]. A couple of weeks later she returned to the shop with damage to the paint. We Advised her that the bumper was impacted but we will refinish the bumper cover, free of charge as a courtesy. [redacted] returns again a couple of months later with scrapes on either side of the bumper cover and a crack in the middle. We told [redacted]this bumper has been scraped and cracked from impacts, we are not responsible for damages.

I did go back to the vendor

within the first two weeks of the stripping of the paint at the sides, in the

front and in the grill of the Montero Sport. [redacted], the owner asked his worker

to patch the stripping sections. He did not refinish the bumper. My aide [redacted]

[redacted] who is with me all the time can attest to this. He suggested then as he

is suggesting now that it was my fault. I have never seen a paint job strip in

this manner.
