My families experience with Globe Moving falls greatly short of this bureaus A+ rating Not aware a packing crew was hired to my home I was taken by surprise when I was greeted by packers (one of which an older women seemingly under the influence of drugs or alcohol) I immediately informed these employees I was not in need of packers, rather I only needed the movers to move the large items in my home These packers ignored my wishes and frantically began throwing anything in sight in boxes with no care or concern for a)my wishes for them not to pack and b)what they were throwing in boxes Five movers then showed up and I became quite busy instructing them what to move, all the while the packers continued to pack The movers and myself were interrupted on two occasions: 1) A loud crash from upstairs (my sons toys being DUMPED on the ground with no concern for breaking themwhich some of them did break) and 2) A ceremonial broom hung carefully over the door frame was removed by the intoxicated packer and placed between her legs as she moved through the crowd of men (and had to be reprimanded by one of the movers as the others laughed) Aside from a minor argument from one mover over the placement of a couch through a narrow landing, which was immediately rectified by another moverthey were efficient and respectful Upon unpacking we discovered the mess the packers madeand an item that was seen upon Globe Moving arriving and MISSING in transition between homes Immediately we phoned Globe Moving to rectify the situation and were told the employee dealing with the issues was unavailable and we would hear back from her A week and a half later we received a phone call from management to whom we explained the above details, including an example of the packing: Box: Open bag of sugar, open bottle of baby powder, three ceramic cereal bowls (not wrapped), clean sweaters and jackets, shoes, clean sippy cups for our toddler son, toddler leap frog magnet system, lighters, pens and zip lock bags *When the box was opened everything was covered in sugar and baby powder and the fact that an item was [redacted] This management employee was dismissive, claiming her employees were only doing their job, however agreed to investigate the moving notes Fast forward another week and we receive another phone call with her claiming that she had received three different stories and was struggling to find the middle ground All correspondence stopped at this point and in another weeks time we received a cheque in the mail (That didn't even cover the cost of the stolen item) and a letter addressed from her stating that the cheque was to address moving concerns and an "alleged" stolen item There was no mention to my sons toys that were broken, and no apology for the eventsrather the impression that we had some how inconvenienced her She closed her letter by saying Globe Moving considers this matter closed All in all my family was left feeling quite disrespected and that this companies management team has little concern for such incidents

I had Globe Moving & Storage move my artist's studio from Brandon to WinnipegThere was a mess of odd materials, supplies and furniture as well as a substantial number of artworks, some under glass, and many paintings on canvas as large as x ft and x ftThe paintings were wrapped in heavy polyvinyl, but not in cartons or crates, and the fact that they were pre-wrapped helped the loading crew to load the truck in slightly less than the estimated timeTransporting Artworks is a bit of an unusual undertaking for regular movers, but the crew were very careful and conscientious in packing and everything arrived in excellent conditionThe load was delivered on time the next day by mostly the same guys, and they were efficient and good naturedI feel that I should mention that the job was comparable in size and cost to a regular move, but that I would definitely recommend the movers and their excellent crew to other artists

On May 13, our household goods were picked up In our discussion with the Sales Manager, we were led to believe that our good would be picked up by the driver destined to deliver to our house We found out later that our goods would not be handled in such a way, rather they went into storage and have been there for days as of today Now I am being told that they will be transferred to Calgary, where they will remain until a driver coming to New Mexico can deliver them, but not likely for another days I called the Sales Manager that handled my account twice and emailed times, with out a reply I find it appalling that he fails to return calls or emails I have contacted the VP which has been much better to deal with but he will not honour any verbal communications I have decided to fly up to Winnipeg, rent a [redacted] truck and haul the goods down myself I would not recommend this moving company

Absolutely would never recommend to anyone....they were a negative experience at every level and sent many employees at every stage that did not provide any quality service, had things damaged just moving it out if our house, delicate items thrown in boxes, far off from original quote, didn't provide adequate customer help, put our things in storage prior to delivery...but stated that would never happen, damaged some of our most valuable goodsWould not recommend to any local or international movesOnly good outcome was when we had to complain to the national office if Atlas and they made sure we got quality service after all of our local poor service

If you need to move give Premiere a call grate prices grate guys with a foot truck Premiere van lines showed up thay went all day 7hrs None stop got my mom movedVary professional kind and polite With no damage done You guys Rock keep up the great work Give them a call out of

We recently moved with Globe Moving I must say it was a fantastic experience Right from meeting with the Sales Manager Lyle ***, to chatting with Wayne the dispatcher to working with their crew The crew that moved us made the move wonderful Gary, Craig and Landon made the move fun all day long I have never laughed so hard during a stressful time moving my family Hats off to everyone and I would strongly recommend Globe to everyone

Excellent service from the beginning to the end of the moveThe folks both in Winnipeg (origin) and Montreal (destination) were just excellent in every respect Moving across the country in the middle of winter is highly stressful at the best of times, but these folks really made it easy with their incredible efficiency and consummate professionalism We cannot say enough about the level of customer service we got Not a single item was broken and they never left a single scuff mark on any of the walls Karl (the Atlas driver) and his guy can move a fridge up a flight of stairs just about as easily as I could carry a suitcase That was amazing to see On top of that they are so friendly and cheerful when they are doing their work and that really makes the move less stressful for the customer Karl said he did not want to leave our place in Montreal until we were completely satisfied with everything These people clearly enjoy what they do and it shows
In brief, Globe gets top marks and our highest possible recommendation

The professionalism and ease in which the workers moved my bulky, heavy items was refreshing. They cared about my floor by putting these runners down and took the time moving stuff from my basement so to not mark the walls. I have moved my stuff in the past, with the help of well intentioned family and friends, but had to stay past midnight that same night to clean rugs floors and patch the walls. I definitely will hire again & well worth the cost.

We moved from small town Manitoba to High River AB and had the very best moving experience - and we have had several moves prior to this one. The booking people in Brandon were prompt , professional and the quote they gave us was reasonable. The packing crew arrived on time, were very speedy packing, packed it all extremely well and finished in under the estimated time. The movers and truck came the next day - loaded in less than the estimated time. 5 days later the same driver arrived with the truck and 3 helpers and everything was unloaded, placed in the right rooms and everything reassembled. Everything arrived in good shape. Wonderful moving experience. The only criticism I have is that Calgary office wouldn't send anyone out to pick up the boxes and paper and sadly it all went into recycle. A+

My families experience with Globe Moving falls greatly short of this bureaus A+ rating .
Not aware a packing crew was hired to my home I was taken by surprise when I was greeted by 2 packers (one of which an older women seemingly under the influence of drugs or alcohol). I immediately informed these employees I was not in need of packers, rather I only needed the movers to move the large items in my home. These packers ignored my wishes and frantically began throwing anything in sight in boxes with no care or concern for a)my wishes for them not to pack and b)what they were throwing in boxes.

Five movers then showed up and I became quite busy instructing them what to move, all the while the packers continued to pack. The movers and myself were interrupted on two occasions: 1) A loud crash from upstairs (my sons toys being DUMPED on the ground with no concern for breaking them.. which some of them did break) and 2) A ceremonial broom hung carefully over the door frame was removed by the intoxicated packer and placed between her legs as she moved through the crowd of men.. (and had to be reprimanded by one of the movers as the others laughed).

Aside from a minor argument from one mover over the placement of a couch through a narrow landing, which was immediately rectified by another mover.. they were efficient and respectful.

Upon unpacking we discovered the mess the packers made.. and an item that was seen upon Globe Moving arriving and MISSING in transition between homes.

Immediately we phoned Globe Moving to rectify the situation and were told the employee dealing with the issues was unavailable and we would hear back from her.

A week and a half later we received a phone call from management to whom we explained the above details, including an example of the packing:

1 Box: Open bag of sugar, open bottle of baby powder, three ceramic cereal bowls (not wrapped), clean sweaters and jackets, shoes, clean sippy cups for our toddler son, toddler leap frog magnet system, lighters, pens and zip lock bags.
*When the box was opened everything was covered in sugar and baby powder.

and the fact that an item was [redacted].

This management employee was dismissive, claiming her employees were only doing their job, however agreed to investigate the moving notes. Fast forward another week and we receive another phone call with her claiming that she had received three different stories and was struggling to find the middle ground.
All correspondence stopped at this point and in another weeks time we received a cheque in the mail (That didn't even cover the cost of the stolen item) and a letter addressed from her stating that the cheque was to address moving concerns and an "alleged" stolen item. There was no mention to my sons toys that were broken, and no apology for the events.. rather the impression that we had some how inconvenienced her. She closed her letter by saying Globe Moving considers this matter closed.

All in all my family was left feeling quite disrespected and that this companies management team has little concern for such incidents.

My family and I recently moved with Premiere Van Lines here in Winnipeg. Our family leads a very busy life and we had the company come in and pack everything into boxes, move it and unpack it. I was very hesitant about using movers as we had a bad experience with a different company about 4 years ago. When Lyle came to our house and meet with me, my stress slowly went away. Lyle actual involved my kids in the process and trust me my kids are not easy to make happy, but he had them laughing. The girls that did the packing were crazy good, never seen people move that fast before. The moving crew was even better. The 4 men that did the move, moved so fast it was unreal. Our house was moved and set up in less time then estimated, which made my husband very happy. I truly recommend this company to help with any move you have.

I had Globe Moving & Storage move my artist's studio from Brandon to Winnipeg. There was a mess of odd materials, supplies and furniture as well as a substantial number of artworks, some under glass, and many paintings on canvas as large as 4 x 9 ft and 6 x 7 ft. The paintings were wrapped in heavy polyvinyl, but not in cartons or crates, and the fact that they were pre-wrapped helped the loading crew to load the truck in slightly less than the estimated time. Transporting Artworks is a bit of an unusual undertaking for regular movers, but the crew were very careful and conscientious in packing and everything arrived in excellent condition. The load was delivered on time the next day by mostly the same guys, and they were efficient and good natured. I feel that I should mention that the job was comparable in size and cost to a regular move, but that I would definitely recommend the movers and their excellent crew to other artists.

On May 13, 2016 our household goods were picked up. In our discussion with the Sales Manager, we were led to believe that our good would be picked up by the driver destined to deliver to our house. We found out later that our goods would not be handled in such a way, rather they went into storage and have been there for 15 days as of today. Now I am being told that they will be transferred to Calgary, where they will remain until a driver coming to New Mexico can deliver them, but not likely for another 15 days.

I called the Sales Manager that handled my account twice and emailed 3 times, with out a reply. I find it appalling that he fails to return calls or emails. I have contacted the VP which has been much better to deal with but he will not honour any verbal communications.

I have decided to fly up to Winnipeg, rent a [redacted] truck and haul the goods down myself. I would not recommend this moving company.
