August 23, [redacted] *** [redacted] *** [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] Dear Ms***: The Customer Advocate Department of Carrington Real Estate Services (CA), Inc(“CRES”) is in receipt of your complaint filed with the Revdex.com (“Revdex.com”) received in our office via email on August 1, CRES is committed to responsible residential real estate brokerage and related services and we would like to address any concerns you may have The following is our response to the issue(s) raised in the inquiry As we understand your complaint, you state that you hired two ladies to clean your condo through the recommendation of CRES agent [redacted] *** You go on to say that you are not satisfied with the services rendered, and therefore, you are requesting a refund in the amount of $150.00, which represents the cost of this service Upon review, our records show that you and your husband jointly hired CRES agent [redacted] “***” [redacted] to list your property for sale beginning May 24, Accordingly, Ms [redacted] completed photos of your property for marketing purposes However, on May 23, you contacted Ms [redacted] and informed her you wanted to withdraw the listing Accordingly, Ms [redacted] complied with your request and canceled the listing agreement As you are aware, part of the cancelation agreement included a payment in the amount of $to Ms [redacted] for the cost of the photos that had been taken of your property for marketing At the time, Ms [redacted] informed you that, if you decided to relist your property with her she would provide you a credit in the amount of $ On or about June 14, you contacted Ms [redacted] again, and informed her that you had decided to relist the property for sale Thereafter, you contacted Ms [redacted] and informed her that you wanted to use the $credit due to you, towards a cleaning service for your property in preparation of showing the home to potential buyers Ms [redacted] agreed to this request, and hired a reputable crew to complete the cleaning service As you are aware, the day the cleaning crew arrived at your home, you informed them to clean the kitchen, dining area, family room and guest bathroom You did not allow any access to the bedrooms The cleaning crew completed the cleaning of the specified areas as you requested in approximately three hours Thereafter, the cleaning crew coordinator provided Ms [redacted] photos of the services rendered at your property, which included before and after photos The photos clearly show that the services were completed satisfactorily, and therefore, Ms [redacted] paid the cleaning service $ Attached for your ease of reference are copies of these photos Ms [redacted] continued to market your property for sale and obtained an offer, which you accepted, and the sale transaction closed on or about August 17, Moreover, your husband expressed to Ms [redacted] that he was very pleased with her services in the sale transaction, and also cleaning service In light of the above, we respectfully declined your request for reimbursement in the amount of $ Please be advised that CRES strives to meet the highest standards of customer satisfaction, abides by all applicable federal and state laws Furthermore, please be advised that CRES denies, generally and specifically, all claims and allegations of wrongdoing contained in your correspondence Carrington Real Estate Services is committed to customer satisfaction and we look forward to resolving any concerns you may have We can be reached at (866) 874-Monday through Friday, 8:AM to 5:PM, Pacific Time Sincerely, [redacted] Customer Advocate Department
