I purchased a dog from Midway Kennels on Saturday March I was advised the dog was a pure bred beagleWhen I picked her up I was told that the dog had been scratched in the eye, but she had cream and it would heal no problemWhen I took her to my vet we were referred to *** *** a specialist in MonctonWas told at this time my dogs eye will never heal, will possibly have to be removed and she is blind in that eyeI asked for compensation for the visit and was told that no- only an exchange of dogs, not even the same breedThis was and is not an option
In the same conversation asking for the registration papers for the dog as we were told she is purebred, however apparently she is not registered and it is illegal to sell dogs are purebreds without papers
