Water problems on property that is less than 2 years old. They have caused a bigger mess and refuse to fix it.I purchased this property in September 2014 from [redacted]. I am Guarantor of Deed holder. [redacted] contacted Carroll's construction about water problem. [redacted] approved his crew to fix the swell along the ditch and my driveway so water would not run to front door of home. Now I have mud and ruts in my driveway and still have water problem at right front of the house causing water to stand. Water is still standing in ditch by septic tank. They fixed driveway the week of Jan.12, 2015. I called after having to step in mud were they had turned under all my gravel. I was informed that they had done all they were going to do per owner [redacted]. Desired SettlementI want my driveway fixed. I want rock to be put back in my driveway. I should not have to replace AC unit because of water damage due to property not being graded right. I feel they should have to pay service fee for Stephenson Heating & Air. I want water problem at front door fixed on right front side of the house. Also ditch by septic tank still holding standing water. Business Response Carroll Construction Homes, Inc. has/never had an agreement or relationship with Mr. & Mrs. [redacted], current homeowners at [redacted]. We have attached the initial picture of the swale prior to the home being sold to Ms. [redacted]. As you can see, the swale is clear and has no standing water. The swale was not properly maintained by the 1st or 2nd homebuyers, and though Carroll Construction Homes, Inc. had no obligation to maintain the swale, we re-graded the swale to insure there were no problems for the current homeowners. Ms. [redacted] contacted Johnston County yesterday, and the Environmental Engineer, Mr. [redacted], inspected the property yesterday afternoon. Mr.[redacted] found no violations at the time of inspection on 1/26/15, and a rain event had just occurred. Also noted in Mr.[redacted]'s report is Carroll Construction Homes, Inc. had made significant improvements to the drainage swale, and the site is in compliance with the Johnston County Stormwater Ordinance, and it is the responsibility of the homeowner to maintain all stormwater measures going forth. Carroll Construction Homes, Inc. is not required to maintain an individual's personal property, and when Mr. [redacted], the 2nd owner of this property, asked us to please help, as you can see in pictures, we graciously did as he asked. Mr. [redacted] asked us to re-grade and he would be responsible for everything else. We did all of this and did not charge the [redacted]'s any fee even though we had time and money vested. We request the Revdex.com remove the complaint and please advise if you feel an attorney is necessary. We have more pictures available if you would like to see them.Consumer Response I understand they fixed the problem with the swale. I also know they cause more problems in driveway. I had rock there before they fixed the drainage problem.. Now I have MUD.As far as me being the second owner I am renting to own. Ms. [redacted] still owns the property until it's paid in full. I feel they shouldn't have messed with it if they knew it was going to take my rock and they were not going to fix it properly.Final Business Response Ms. [redacted] is making false accusations against Carroll Construction. The driveway was not affected by the repairs.
