Review: It was misrepresented to me by the [redacted] that upon repairing my broken bathtub he would be able to tile my walls for me as well. Upon further review of the work that had begun on January 30, 2015 it was evident to myself that he and his workers were not skilled in the labor (tiling) in which he had represented to me. His laborers cut into the drywall and nicked the backside of my microwave; they used the incorrect durarock board for tiling on the walls (to include the incorrect width of board); they used the incorrect type of flooring wood for floor tiles; they used the incorrect type of mortar (vinyl mortar which is used to laminate flooring); the tiles his workers put up fell off the wall within just a few hours of it being put up (sameday); the tile was not layed out properly according to the tile design; the layout of the durarock boards were not cut precise to the size of the wall they had opened up & therefore leaving large gaps that would be impossible to patch and/or repair; and finally, they nicked a stud and caused it to crack . Overall, I was misrepresented by the [redacted] who told me he has done many bathroom remodels and would be sure to have mine up to code and beautifully finished at the end. As of February 4, 2015, our contract with Carroll and Sons Plumbing has been properly and rightfully terminated & I have paid them for what I believe is an accurate calculation for the incorrect work his workers have performed.

I have photos of before, during and after their work of progress that would accurately document and support my statements.Desired Settlement: For the company to not represent to other clients that they can do bathroom remodels (ie - tiling) so as to prevent other future customers from having a larger heartache over the incorrect work that was performed and potentially lose out on a large chunk of money over their lack of honest representation.
