to one of our offices such as Carrollton, the dealer would not accept the payment and they are well trained to redirect the customer to the rental company. we do not even have account # to cross reference the payment therefore no payment of any sort (cash, check, credit/debit) can be accepted. The customer claims that they paid $1,300 to the dealer and did not get a receipt. Our territory manager, [redacted], reached out to the customer and asked for the date that the payment was supposedly made to the dealer and a copy of the withdrawal slip, but the customer was not able to provide either. The only mention of any withdrawal time/date is in the email attached with these statements from [redacted]: "I went ahead and filed a police report and contacted an attorney. [redacted] in Carrollton has me on Camera. My attorney has that and my Withdrawal slip". Our Territory Manager, nor myself, [redacted], has received any further contact from the police or any attorney. Our receptionist reached out to the customer several times trying to get information on the day, time and a description of the person who supposedly accepted this payment, but has been unsuccessful in getting a response from the customer. Therefore, no proof of any sort was given to help resolve this complaint. If we had received the requested Date and time we could have reviewed our security cameras to cross reference any of the information given in the complaint. I did submit the correct paperwork that they requested. This paperwork was left at the Carrollton location. It was a letter from my bank with the date and time that a withdrawal was made. I believe that the Carrollton location needs to employ more honest people. Clearly the women that took my payment is not willing to tell the truth on where my payment went. Regarding the phone calls made to me by the employee, why would I speak to the women that stole my money? I asked her not to contact me again. This company in Carrollton are nothing but thieves.
