Threatened to sue me allegedly over alleged material misrepresentations and I believe because I told them I wrote about my negative experience with them online including filing a complaint with the Revdex.com
Unprofessional and rudeWe took many photographs and sent them detailed measurements via emailIt took them over weeks to respond and I had to follow up numerous timesThen once we determined the estimate was acceptable they came out in person (why they didn't feel it was necessary to come out the first time or ask additional questions such as about the exterior of the building, number of stories, or trim around the windows BEFORE sending me the initial quote is beyond comprehension as we had no issue with providing this information)Then after seeing it in person they said it would be 50% more than the nearly $9k original quote givenI believed in my opinion that this was exorbitant and utter nonsense and more of an attempted con artist ripoff and trying to scam to get more money or didn't want to do the work in my opinionI said it was BS and felt it was profit taking and called the owner who instead of listening to the customer proceeded to berate me as being difficult "pain in the a**" and that with over $million in sales last year didn't need my businessI wouldn't put up with their nonsense and actually followed up and expected them to respondThe fact they operate this way makes me wonder how they stay in businessAvoid at all costs as I believe if a business (rather than solving issues positively) threatens to sue potential customers or clients and has their attorney contacting them due to reporting a negative experience they shouldn't be in business
Salesman, Shawn T. did a great estimate for my home. Very nice & pleasant person. Great personality & outgoing.
As far as the Customer Service end of Carrollwood Window & Door, that has to be the ultimate in worst experience.
Scheduled appointments made by Carrollwood Window & Door are not kept and no calls made to let you know they are not coming as scheduled or why.
Repeated calls for customer service not returned .
I know why they are not concerned about Customer Service because The Revdex.com doesn't post them.
A review from what I can read on your web page- are not posted on Revdex.com Accredited Business .
To me as a consumer -that needs to be reviewed.
Should have check them out with Angie's list & a call to the Revdex.com to get background before spending $6,000.00 on windows.
I have called the owner Randy & he will not return my phone call.
I even stopped by several weeks ago when they had scheduled appointment to be at my house at 8:30 am and hadn't shown at 2 PM and hadn't call to let me know why they hadn't shown, so went by the 301 Business.
Talked with Eric B. to ask why their service guys hadn't showed and to let him know that I was upset that no one had taken the time to call to let us know that his men were going to be a no show for the day.
I asked that his service guys drop off what was needed to complete work since Hillsborough County Inspectors had been out.
Eric B. is inside customer service & who had made appointment with us to have their service guys stop by to finish the final steps after the Hillsborough inspection.)
